Scoot Henderson did the same reclassify thing to get 2 years of paid basketball,
He moved up to 2021 and signed a 2 year G-League Ignite contract.
As you mentioned - you get 2 years of paid time instead of just 1.
This is also basically what Gavin Wimsatt did.
He bailed on his high school team after 2 games so he could enroll early and start getting paid NIL a year early.
I think this is going to be a bigger thing going forward for both football and basketball.
Players skipping senior year of HS so they can go to college/G-League and collect money.
