Looking like a good bet. Saw that dirty hit on Fields. Fields is owed another 10m guaranteed NEXT year. Ouch.

Flirty Flirting GIF

It was closer than I thought, and thats exactly why I dont gamble. But I knew once Gwilson was out, the Jets had no offense. They had less than "no offense". I would honestly bet against the Jets so long as Gwilson is out. Obviously depends on the opponent.. but they are not an NFL team right now.

Coach Brooks said it best. Go win in every facet.

Special teams killed us. Poor play calling cost us. "Take the FG" early and no OT. "Take the FG" in OT, trust your D. Let's run the ball up the middle 3 plays straight against a D whose line averages well over 300lbs...
Couple of other questionable situations. End of first half, kicking the long FG on third down with 13 seconds left and I think a TO left too. Why not either run one more play and try to get closer or take a shot at the end zone before attempting the kick. There was plenty of time to do that on third down. Our coaches clam up and worry about the worst case scenario’s happening instead of taking risks.
Had an almost identical situation at the end of regulation. 14 seconds and we kick the FG on 2nd down. Take a freaking shot at the end zone. Throw a lob to Gilmore in the corner, take a chance. We had plenty of time to do that on second down before attempting the kick.

I didn't expect much from this team but a win against Texas would have semi-salvaged the season. Maybe they can squeak out another 2 or 3 wins. Unlikely.

Four of the unbeatens go down this week. OSU, IU, A&M, GA Tech and BYU are unblemished. Bama has had a hell of a run the past 4 weeks. The cream rises.
OSU isn’t losing. They will more than likely repeat.

My other alma mater 38 miles south allows inmates to run the asylum. Tell 'em, Riley.

Companies that offer Student loans and Government Student loans should deny paying for these courses. If it isn’t a course geared towards a degree that will actually have earning potential, it should be denied. You take those courses, you’re on your own paying for them.

Defense played very well; however, Texas scores more points if Manning is the QB the hype promotes. He missed open WRs, even when he had time. He is no Heisman candidate, at least not this year.
He’s massively overrated. There’s a reason it took him till year three to become the starter. I bet their fans would trade him for Boley after last night. Kinda feel sorry for him, his name and pedigree has put all kinds of pressure on him and Texas is between a rock and a hard place with his NIL deal and such. They can’t bench him

Have to wonder how hot Sarks seat would be if they had lost to us. He may have been Franklin’d.

Agree. About three weeks ago i posted on the football board he should be our #1 target. Already achieved big things in the sec with similar nil and worse facilities and worse fan support.

I love summrall but you just cant pass up a guy that's already doing it in our league.
Lea is a Vandy Grad. They’ll extend him, give him a big raise. Then they’ll go back to being mediocre when Pavia leaves. It’s laughable to think he’d consider UK.

When you have elections, they can be assessed and, perhaps, seen as sham. When you deny elections, it’s a sham on its face.
When you don't have elections, it's not a sham as there's nothing to be a sham. There is still someone or group in charge w/o elections. Would you rather pretend there's an election or admit how straightforward how a country is being run. Z doesn't hide that there's no elections. Putin pretends there are. Someone you think the latter is better.
And, no one here believes you still have the “A” in LMAO, Elaine. ;)
Whatever that means. Strange **** right there.

Stoops postgame

Blech, but not gonna lie, the atmosphere was pretty electric the whole night. I thought our fans would be outnumbered, but we showed out pretty well considering. And it’s the first time in a long time the stadium was still full in the 4th quarter. Students stayed the whole game too. There would have been a field rush if we had won.

Something they did improve with the PA system was that the Band was mic’d up and their music played over the PA. It was especially loud. That was good for them and the atmosphere. They actually did a pretty cool Back to the Future themed halftime show too. It was Homecoming too yet they didn’t do the customary homecoming King and Queen coronation, kinda funny, I guess that wouldn’t be good in light of all the No Kings BS going on yesterday.

Iirc he makes 4 mil there. At least until now, vandy didn't see sports as warranting the level of investment it would take to keep him IF he is motivated by money.
Vandy decided to finally invest in football. Their Stafium renovations and upgrades look pretty cool too. There are a lot of good potential coaches out there, Lea doesn’t “have to be” the top candidate.

First time I really watched Arch Manning. He isnt very good. I can't believe Texas is sticking with him.
Don't know who their back up QBs are but they must be absolutely awful if Arch is better than them.

Boley outplayed him and it wasn't even close. Texas is probably undefeated if Boley was their starter if I had to guess.

Wrong. When you make excuses for not permitting an election, it’s on its face a sham. You are a Zelensky puppet.

With their alumni wealth and location in large city, I think they can(do?) being in more funds than UK.
