It definitely wont happen if we just give out checks when we have a surplus. I understand why he's doing it, it just isnt the right path.

If he was going to do anything that route, at least give a one time tax credit to any taxpayer that doesn't also get an eic. That still isnt as good as paying down debt, but at least its better than just handing out cash, much of which goes to fraud.
Yes, but think of the impact politically if many of these checks get out in time for Christmas. Many people will not forget that come next election time and the economic effect because of the spending at Christmas will also be impacted.

While I agree with your point, it may be just a stunt or real concern for those needing the money right now. Advantageous timing?

Anyone who has any sense of financial discipline doesn’t need money right now. It’s been growing on trees since Covid. The only people who need money right now are lazy.

That said, I know a low IQ voter like yourself will rationalize and blindly agree with everything your king says or proposes.

Not sure if true, copied from another site.

Liberals are organizing to STORM congressional offices in Washington, D.C. on November 20th to demand President Trump’s impeachment.
One of the organizers laid it out clearly in a livestream:
“It’s time to remove the regime. We have to remove him from power… The way we take him out of power is the people sitting in those offices on Capitol Hill say enough is enough and push forth articles of impeachment.”
They’re calling the event the “Remove the Regime Rally,” a three-day mobilization planned for November 20–22, with crowds expected to fill the streets around the Capitol.
“We are going to come with big numbers and go up onto Capitol Hill and make our voices heard… We are going to peaceably go into these offices and demand that they support articles of impeachment.”
The man even hinted at escalating tactics:
“If they don’t got the balls enough to impeach him, we will take their job and do it for them with the next crew we bring in… We need progressive Democrats with balls enough to stand up.”
He closed his rant by urging influencers and activists nationwide to travel to D.C. and pressure lawmakers directly.
In short:
🔺
Left-wing activists are mobilizing
🔺
They plan to occupy congressional offices
🔺
Their goal: force impeachment and “remove the regime”
It’s shaping up to be a volatile scene in Washington — and law enforcement will need to keep a close watch to ensure it doesn’t spiral out of control.
Well, maybe the DC police will give them the same treatment they gave Ashley Babbit for this insurrection.

Says the liberal idiot who supports chaos and real insurrections.
Chaos is where success is bred, chief. I know you live in a world where every decision you make is dictated by someone. You’re basically making burgers at Wendy’s. Wait, Wendy’s is pretty solid. Whitecastle is more like it. You’re a mindless drone who can’t exist without following SOPs. A monkey could do what you do with enough training.

Reading comprehension is your friend. Re-read 10 more times and then try again. But what is really idiotic about your post is a liberal talking about financial discipline and lazy people. It's oxymoronic.

The only people crying about SNAP were liberals. Never heard one complaint for a Trump supporter about SNAP

lol what a fool
Dude, by far the poorest class in the country is red county trailer dwellers. They’ve never left their own state except to visit Dollywood, always vote GOP, and live off you and me. Your support for them is misplaced but not shocking.

Geography knowledge is your friend. There are no White Castles where I live private.

Group think and following social trends is the trademark of the liberal hive mind.
(re-read your post to get that inference). Cue Jeopardy music.

Corruption and criminal acts are not success private

Bahahahah, a government employee wants to call me military ranks. I know the best your life has ever been was when you were shootin’ commies, but some of us grow up. Get a job in the private sector. If you last a week I’ll send you a nice bottle of bourbon.

Ahhhh, the MAGA playbook in action.
“Not sure if true, but I’m gonna run to the only friends I have on my favorite racist message board and post it anyway.”
Classic.
Ahh, the old leftist default grievance of anything or anyone I disagree with is racuuust.
Yeah, cuz this is so hard to believe when your ilk just trotted out a nationwide no kings cry fest, over an elected President.

When noted racist and MAGA acolyte Sean Davis calls Trump weak and rudderless, you know there is trouble brewing. Biden was clearly mentally compromised and any intelligent person saw it. If you don’t see it with Trump, you’re just a rah rah fan who cares nothing about the future

Learn something about Army terminology before you look stupid... oops, too late. Get back to me when you have figured that one out.

When it comes to you get back to me.

I worked for over a year in the private sector before working for a civilian military contractor after retiring from the Army.

The part about all of this is clear, however. is that you did not have the courage to join the military and need to disparage my service to try and prove to yourself that you are a man. Good Luck.

I don’t have an “ilk,” sports fan. I laugh at anyone on both fringes. So MAGA and the woke idiots on the left are the same person to me. Mindless idiots.

There has to be somebody near him trying to destroy everything he’s accomplished.

Don’t you know? If Trump says everything is cheaper, it’s cheaper. Housing has never been more affordable. Thanksgiving dinner will cost 35 cents less this year! It’s nothing but winning. No matter what he says, 20% of the population believes it. It’s kind of sad that “the most powerful country in the world” is currently being pulled backward 50 years by a bunch of fake Jesus loving old white dudes.

When you factor in the hours I spent at work for both the Army, the contractors, and then civil service where my job kept me at work for more hours than you have been alive, most people except idiots would gladly pay me for my workload. Unlike you, I did not have a FIL give me a job to sit around and get paid for doing nothing. Without your FIL which you admitted to getting a job from you would be out on the street because actually having to work is not in the liberal playbook. Plus, you lack the discipline and intelligence to make your own way.

Are Conservatives Less Likely Than Liberals to Accept Welfare? The Psychology of Welfare Politics

Abstract

Research has shown that conservatives tend to oppose the distribution of welfare to other people. However, are conservatives less likely than liberals to accept welfare for themselves? We find that the difference in liberals' and conservatives' welfare enrollment depends on whether the welfare program has a work requirement policy. A natural field experiment shows that when the supplemental nutritional program (SNAP) had a work requirement, liberals and conservatives were equally likely to enroll in this program. In the absence of a work requirement, conservatives were less likely than liberals to enroll in it. Follow-up experiments replicate this result and demonstrate the underlying mechanism: conservatives' adherence to binding moral values (loyalty, authority, and purity; Graham, Haidt and Nosek 2009) makes them hesitant to accept welfare without a work requirement. Policymakers can deploy marketing messages to mitigate this effect and boost conservatives' enrollment in such welfare programs.
