The Venuezela war is not a good look. Or a good idea.
Ordinarily I would be right there with you, but...in this case I say take them out so long as it is done with purpose. China and Russia must be purged from SA. None of this would be necessary if our dumbass politicians hadn't abandoned the Monroe Doctrine. Yet another price to be paid for their corruption.

On that note. Reuters is claiming we seized a Venezuelan oil tanker. Not many details. Maybe drugs. Maybe poking the bear. Maybe both.

Been a Ford man all of my life and have never bought anything else (for me). My wife has a 2007 Nissan Rouge and the KIA Sportage was hers until we bought the Rouge and gave the Kia to her mother. She (her mother) can no longer drive so, I use it as my Hoopty.

With that being said, Maverick was a thought, but they have not been out long enough for a long enough reliability assessment for me so, Rangers are what I am looking for at this time. Owned one years ago and when I bought an F150 (not current one) I sold it. Wish I had kept it anyway, it was very durable and ran like a scalded cat. Had a 4.2L V6.

However, at this point in time, I am considering Tacoma's and have looked at a few Colorado's as well. Does not have to be new but within the last couple of years or so.

I couldn't fit into a Ford from the late 80s through early 2000s, but they've gotten much more roomy since then. Haven't tried the smaller trucks recently. Have been looking at used F150s a lot for the room and towing. Have yet to pull the trigger on a purchase.

Have heard great things about Tundras and Tacomas from mechanics the last several years, but buying the Tundra is like buying a 2nd home. The Tacomas are still a little small for the price, but if I could find a good 6 cylinder 4x4 I'd snatch it up.

OBTW, original statement being general is because I hate long post so, I try to avoid them. Wife gets pissed at me because when she is trying to make a point about things she has to give me the whole break down of how she got there and I generally tell her to just give me the end result, I can figure out the rest. True story. She still gets a little miffed when I say shorten it but, after 25 years she has learned to expect it and doesn't get as mad.

That's how things are between my wife and I was well. To a T. We don't have 25 years in yet, though. (20 or thereabouts so far.) What's funny to me is that she complains about her mom's conversations not getting to the point fast enough, then takes the long way around herself. When I start laughing in the middle, she just says, "I am NOT my MOTHER!" Then I laugh until my stomach hurts.

Edited: Features? Standard. Not big on all of the bells and whistles so...

Same. I don't use much of the bells and whistles, but they are great for resale value. Since I drive them more til they drop these days, they dont matter much to me. Meanwhile my wife is enamored with heated steering wheels in her next purchase, in spite of saying the current SUV is her "last vehicle purchase." LOL

If the vehicle options can't make me a sandwich, why do I need em?

Kicking myself for not buying my buddy's v8 Suburban when he was selling it. Easy to work on and was a well-maintained CSX vehicle at one point. Still had a working, corded, flashing yellow light in it. Kids would've loved that. Got to use it to go camping one weekend. Absolutely huge inside and that was without the 2nd row of seats down. 3 rows total.

Kicking myself....

One of IU's best Defensive Lineman blew his knee out high fiving fans after the Ohio State game and is out for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, ND is still whining about not getting into the playoff. Now they're blaming the ACC for hurting their chances with the committee due to some press releases or social media promoting Miami or something. Somewhere a statue is probably weeping

Just bought a new Lariat with the coyote V-8..Pick it up Monday, having a bed liner sprayed in. Just ordered a whole bunch of weather tech stuff for my Christmas. Bought a mountaineer new in 07 and it looks inside and out like it did when I bought it. Sold it Monday. We went to the casino Monday night and leaving I hit a big *** pothole that broke the A- arm, tie rod, smashed the tire back into the fender. They took it to body shop today and my rental, yeah, a friggin Hyundai Kono. Been a crazy week

open border, thought police through the information czar, transing kids, promoting the murder of children, just to name a few

if you're talking about lockdowns, that actually drove prices down because demand decreased dramatically, DA. You are really dumb.
Hey knucklehead, there were world-wide supply chain disruptions and stim checks handed out from both Trump and Biden.

You lose again. Always.

Supposedly based on oil sanctions with Iran, and them using the tanker to sell oil to Iran. Who knows, though, lol.

They also played Purdue, Arkansas, Navy and Boise. If I was the ACC I would tell them to hit the road. ACC gets a few games out of it and ND has a home for their mostly crappy other sports programs.
