You may see that, but we will disagree. I DID see a team that for whatever reason went off the rails twice at terrible times. I also saw a team missing it's only true facsimile of a power forward. Lack of effort to me would say the Cats were never in the game...and we both know that's not true.
We are very thin at the 4 and for whatever reason serviceable at 5. Our best shooting 3 is a six foot four version of a five foot guard that leaves us 4 on 5 on defense.
This team definitely has weaknesses that we all notice. But the rants I read about Pope not being much of a coach or 'we suck' are both not productive as well as borderline stupid.

Didn't like what I saw most of the game but,,,, Vandy just beat Tenn and Goose Givens said we did not get a shoot around in that strange gym today- on radio he said Vandy told us the gym was not available when we were scheduled to do a shoot around today

Anderson was hurt n sec play. He most certainly played that season and was a player of the year candidate.
Why did they let 15 seconds run off the clock at the end before they made any effort to foul?? Thought that was stupid play! We went from 40 seconds down to 23 when we finally fouled. They hit one and missed one which only put Vandy up 4. Lots of things to be critical of in this game
