It is astounding to me how some people don’t understand actions have consequences. Let’s just ignore the fact that he is obviously an intolerant POS of a human being. What did he think was going to happen here? he just altered the entire trajectory of his life. If he is a state student, I expect he will be expelled. Probably today so State can get ahead of it.

and then what for him? Apply to another college? Good luck with that
It's a generational thing.

Boomers and X-gens recall the stories of how a tiny nation surrounded by 10s of Millions of screaming Muslims wanted to exterminate a small group of Sabras and emaciated Shoah survivors...and those Jews bitchslapping them in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973. We remember the Munich Massacre of '72 and the Entebbe Rescue on July 4, 1976. We've met and spoke with Holocaust survivors. Many of us believe the Genesis 12:3 and 28:13-14, and Romans 11.

Millennials and Z-gens only remember the Intifada and the fight the Israelis have had against the Palestinians living within their own borders. They believe the Holocaust deniers and laugh at the Russian Orthodox and Nazi antisemitic memes that have been resurrected. They downplay the Old Testament and the Pauline epistles.

Kid should be expelled but him being criminally charged is absolutely insane and anyone recommending that should be ashamed
Nah, if one of those quarters touched Portnoy, charge him. Make an example.

This kind of stuff is just absolutely poisonous. I’m embarrassed for the young man’s family, but he needs to eat this one hard.

At the least he needs to be publicly shamed.

Many of us also knew men who fought in the ETO in WWII and saw the concentration and extermination camps.

What he did was public. Why shouldn’t his name be public?
I kinda agree with this as he is more than likely a legal adult.....even though his actions are childish, ignorant, stupid and immature

hopefully this creates an opportunity for this nimrod to make some better decisions in his life going forward

We lost by a lot, I’m drinking so I’ll go down the rabbit hole. I met a true holocaust denier, in person, at a conference. We were chilling and someone made a WW2 reference and he goes on about his questions. I was kind of amazed/curious vs everyone else at the table that were horrified.

Has anyone figured out if it’s Palestine flag or confederate flag Jew hatred?
European Jew-hate: "Da Jooz are too smart fer us so we must eliminate them"
Arab Jew-hate: "Da Jooz are too smart and too strong for us so we must eliminate them."

I’ve never really understood the hatred for Jews by Christian’s. I went down the rabbit hole that is the history of different religions years ago. I’ve always looked upon Judaism and Christianity as be on the same team as it were and the Muslim faith as the opposing team.

17 the Jews and throwing quarters at him? Was that some sort of 2-bit Borat impression? What a god damn loser that kid is.

Portnoy seems to be having a great time and I doubt loses any sleep over it. Hopefully, 1 knucklehead idiot doesn't overshadow otherwise great publicity.
They threw pennies in my day. Glad to see antisemitism has been effected by the cost of living also.

It’s an anti-semitic act feeding on the idea that Jews are greedy and money centered. It would be one thing if he just said “17 you, Portnoy”, but saying “17 the Jews” and throwing coins is some real Neo-Nazi-level sнit.
He could have been a really pro Palestine guy too!

I’m amazed at the number of people in the world who do not understand the difference between freedom from consequences, and freedom from LEGAL consequences. The dude should not face any legal charges, assuming Portnoy was not struck. He should absolutely face consequences in the private sector. That’s the whole premise of our society.

It should be, and someone needs to make a public example of this ******* groyper loser clown for embarrasing our University, City, and State on a national level. Thankfully, Dave didn't bring it up during the show but its already viral. And trust me it will come up again. This dude needs to be expelled and have his *** kicked for this. I hope both are able to happen.

The Univerity needs to release a statement letting the world know
1. His identity, so we can embarrass this guy in a public manner as he deserves
2. That he has been expelled

This is why we can't have nice things.

Count me in on that. I mean “they put Jesus to death!!! Those sorry devils!!”

Well, yea. That is kind of an important event in Christianity that was prophesied and set in motion many generations before. It’s not like it was a sneak attack that scrapped the entire plan.

Well, if you believe the folks in this thread, a number of them know the identity of the quarter chunker, and they ain't disclosing.

Maybe ask them what they're skerrid of...
I don’t want to have a Cornett situation. It will come out but the rumors on Twitter was a dude named Patrick from Madison. But that is Twitter so do with it what you want.

It's interesting to see how much 'groyper' has been cited in this thread. Looks like that term and ideology has reached a tipping point in social use.

Me too. You would think if it was a student at MSU the name would be out there.
Why does everyone care about his name?

I hope he is expelled. Maybe some one kicks him in the balls a few times too but I don’t really give a $h1t about his name.

I’m willing to bet from a percentage standpoint Christian’s aren’t the biggest hater of Jews.

I certainly don’t hate Jews!

I absolutely hope the Jews wipe Hamas and all other radical jihadist from the face of the earth!!
