Possible 3rd and 4 the Rd match ups

Andrews or Starmount at MA week 3.
Mitchell at MA week 4 could be a good one.
TJ at Robbinsville will probably be the best 3rd round game.

Murphy/Mountain Heritage @ Eastern Randolph
Both 4th round game should be dandys.
I don't see TJ or North Rowan putting up much of a challenge to Robbinsville or Cherokee, nor do I see Mount Airy having any trouble dispatching Andrews or Starmount.
Of course, it's the playoffs, so anyone can get sent home on any given night. It's already been a odd season with the heavy hitters, so who knows what will happen. Honestly, I think the bracket plays out by the numbers, but who knows?

At Mitchell mid November...... Ok played there in playoffs my Jr Year and we were ranked #2 in 2A pretty good and we got beat. Was very freaking cold and the firetruck had lights flashing and sirens going very intimidating place to play. Did I mention about froze

If Andrews continues to heal I like their chances against Starmount. At the start of season people were saying we need a xtra point kicker. Problem solved, JV kicker moves up. Next Andrews needs some type of passing game, they’re to one dimensional. We now throw just enough to make some things happen. QB is maturing and has a strong arm.
Loss to Swain by 9 only 1 somewhat healthy back !
Loss to Cherokee by 3 with only 1 somewhat healthy back !

One thing to keep in mind for TJ.. they played some of the best teams in the state in their conference in Shelby and Burns and they played a pretty decent East Gaston team very close. I think TJ will be a tough out. They have a D1 WR recruit too.
Beat Mount Airy too while your at it. After all those directions, i dont feel like driving up there...
The last 2 years TJ was right under the top 2 teams. About like Mitchell.
I drove out to Mt Airy this summer to do the Andy Griffith tour. It was easy for me from Andrews. I40 to I77 easy enough. Coming back I took the Parkway until I hit a heck of a storm. It was a Torhellicane
TJ had basically the same score against East Gaston that Cherokee did, and Cherokee is tough.

My Black Knights should be concerned with their 1st round matchup. If we get thru that one we'll most likely play Cherokee a team that has already beat us once this year. I know we'll be playing at home and have Mr. Adams back in the lineup but Cherokee knows they can play with Robbinsville and win. I feel good about our chances if we hang on to the ball and the O and D lines have good games. All it takes is a few fumbles or mistakes and you're down by 20 to a pretty good Cherokee team. Get by those two then it looks like TJ again. Their record speaks for the teams they've played in their conf. I think the weak schedule in the past is what hurt them in the playoffs so now we shall see. Just my thoughts.
Several fatalities from the stretch from US 421 to CC Camp Rd exit in Elkin. All locals bypass that death trap. Most of the wrecks includes transfers not stopping or slowing down in road construction.
That stretch around the Elkin area was pretty bad when I went to watch Andrews at Elkin.
