Thanks for the post, Smash. My first takeaway was Collins stroke looks smooth af. No clue if Cal will give him the greenlight if open from 3, but it will be interesting to see how his game has developed and taken the next step. Second takeaway is that Livingston looks like a man out there. And lastly, it looks like Adou could contribute on the defensive end right away.
Toppin hit 40 percent of his 3s last season, but the question is what will his percentage be with a green light?
Does anyone have a list of the numbers for each player? TIA.
He stands up there and knocks down free throws as good as any big man I've ever seen. Would be awesome to see him be a three threat just to keep the D honest if nothing else.
Ware looks trimmer.
Will be interesting to see if that 15-16 foot elbow/foul line area jumper becomes a straight away three pointer for Oscar.

Hard to tell much from that video will be able to tell us more next month in games.

Not sure what numbers Walker Horn and Grant Darbyshire are wearing. I thought it was #20 for Horn and #13 for Darbyshire but not positive of that.

I been saying for 2-3 months, Collins will be knocking down 3’s and Oscar will make a few too.
Collins is gonna be so good, I feel pretty confident UK will easily have the best front court in the country next year!
That Livingston dunk looked like Jamal Mashburn with dreads.

Cal doesn’t even like our guards to shoot 3's, if we're going to see any of our 4's or 5's shooting 3's, it would take Cal getting ejected.
I'm fine with it as long as Cal puts a hold on our guys shooting from one step inside the 3 point line. That’s the worst shot in basketball.
Yeah, he is an impressive looking specimen. I bet we're going to see a lot of those dunks off the bounce from him.
I hope you're right. He has all the tools to be a special player and his shooting form is pure.
This team has potential to be special. Hopefully we stay injury free and that’s one thing that worries me about this roster. I think Cj could be a big time player for us if he stays healthy. I may be wrong but with open scholarships available right now, I wouldn't be shocked if we don’t have a player reclassify and join this team. I read an article a few weeks ago that said Dillingham might be eligible to reclassify. That would be amazing if he did. Having a kid like him for two seasons would be terrific for our program.
They definitely pass the look-test to be a much better defensive team than last season.
I pointed out after the season opener against Duke that Trevor Keels, an 18-year-old freshman guard, was more physically imposing than anyone on our team other than Oscar. Now, we've got a couple freshmen guards that look like men in Livingston and Wallace, two athletic freaks at the 4 and the best center in the country. Hopefully Thiero can at least be a defensive spark off the bench. No clue what to expect from that guy.

Oscars form looks so good on that jumper. If he starts hitting that far out it’s over.
He looks the part of stud player for sure.

I agree, but the problem is, if he misses, someone needs to get the long rebound, or it'll be a runout.
I'm thinking Oscar will only take one or two per game. If he hits one, ir both, take another one. That would open the paint right up.
Couldn’t help but notice Wheeler driving and getting swatted by Adou. I am really trying to get excited for this team, but having a 5’8” lead guard is still my main concern. I hope the kid can really change his game to be a drive and kick only, unless he has a wide open drive to the lane or wide open jumper. Plain and simple he isn’t going to grow and can’t take contested shots on a regular basis. On a positive note, I’m feeling more and more confident we have all the other pieces to be special!
Patterson or T Jones role. 1 or 2 3s a game in beginning of year, from February on only when completely wide open due to defense breakdown and not drawn up.
I hope one of the guys playing the 4/5 role can be a real game changer from a pick and spot 3.

IMO thats why Oscar came back to uk proving he can make a couple of three's when he is open and prove that to nba he has a lot to offer

I luv the size this team has. I know Wheeler needs to go Tyler Ulis and we are right where we need to be, have everything from size and depth and experience. Go Cats!!
