Just curious but how can a 3-8 Ashe County team even be in the playoffs, much less be seeded higher than a 5-8 West Iredell?
Looks like the mighty Hibriten Panthers will have their shot against Shelby in round 2. I predict a bad night for Hibriten, 2nd year in row undefeated until they come off the hills of Lenoir and play somebody. They will learn SP & Shelby is a different brand of football.

Biggest injustice is what happened to Whiteville....10-1 and destroyed south columbus who also finished 10-1 and both tied with e. bladen at 10-1....Whiteville gets 3rd place due to draw and number 9 seed (at 10-1)...has to travel to Salisbury (Whiteville would be favored) and then possibly the 190 mile (each way) trip to face Reidsville in the 2nd round......Ouch...................
Interesting to see how the larger 2A schools must be in the west. Whiteville/E Bladen in the west and then teams like N Davidson/Ledford in the east.
The winner of the Hendersonville-Lincolnton matchup would have a very long bus ride ahead of them.
