Rumor heard recently is that Slive told the AD's of all SEC schools NOT to hire

Petrino if one of the schools end up having a coaching vacancy at the end of the year, and they agreed to it. Something about protecting the brand image of the SEC. If true, we know the Auburn AD had his fingers crossed behind his back while saying he wouldn't hire Petrino.
