Davis is just getting back into live wrestling shape. He will beat that guy in the BJC during the Big Ten Tournament.
He wrestles just like his big brother.
Honestly, how much can we really put on Brands? I get that it's his job, but not sure a firing squad could convince a Ferrari to change his ways.
Wasn't he rubbing the knee he was kneeling on. Shouldn't it have hurt?
I wonder if Brands put Arnold out there because he knew that Levi would probably bonus Kennedy. Arnold wasn’t going to win but he had a better chance of keeping the score down.
It’s a mental hurdle, I think. They have the skill. They aren’t able to let it fly and be fearless. They can’t unlock mentally. It’s what Cael and Casey are good at. Getting guys to not worry about failure or consequences and just getting after it.
The biggest indictment of the Brands' coaching is Kueter. Guy is taller, has the weight advantage and is ranked higher than Cole but he's petrified to take a shot. It's insane.
so when the ref called stalling and he went right back to one knee another stall should have been called right away!
I hope the competition committee takes a look at implementing mandatory stalling when dropping to a knee. Top 5 matchup and we get Angelo wishing Arnold went out there instead.

Just curious how the Ferrari family takes coaching. Doesn't like the type who believe learning is a thing they should do. Iowa $ still pays the bills and the Ts. Not really defending the Brands, but lets offer encouraging words so that they never leave Iowa....

I kinda sorta know what he's getting at. Guys get to his legs and when they do I immediately get flashbacks of Lovette getting the TDs that he's been able to mostly avoid so far this year. On bottom when there are times this year he's getting ridden I get flashbacks of Lovette riding or even turning him like it was nothing. SVN is having one he'll of a year but that f****** Lovette kid and what he was able to do with Shane just won't give me any peace of mind. Lol

Yep - Davis' neutral defense is suspect when he is tied or behind (i.e., has to maintain the ability to score). The TD he gave up in 1st Period was way too easy - Bailey pushed into him from tied position, as soon as Davis pushed back, he essentially walked directly into leg pick at the knee. Way too easy especially given that Bailey had 5 losses coming into match.

I'd bet they change the rules next year because of that match, I'd bet even more if he continues to do that in multiple matches. That cannot continue to happen that 100% kills the vibe for viewer's, no one wants to watch that not even Ferrari's family!
He dropped a lot of weight. He thought he would be redshirting just 2 weeks ago. Give him a couple more weeks to get into good shape and keeping his weight down. He’ll be fine moving forward
