A Buddy of mine i saw this morning said he was on the same plane as DT getting off in State College on Thursday. I’m assuming he was going to see Bassett but not sure. Just seems strange because I would think they would want to see Bassett and family out at OSU. Hopefully Cael and Staff are putting the full court press on and offering them a package deal they can’t refuse. Be great to get Bo, Melvin Miller, and younger brother Keagen Bassett. All 3 are in State Elite recruits in our backyard who I’m sure want to wrestle at the same college. Will see soon.

Probably but personally I’m not sure. He may still be the owner of M2 and the building. Not sure if he even sold his house and small farm. Good point about still having business in State College or surrounding area.

Taylor was required to divest from M2. Running a club, even remotely, would be a blatant violation of NCAA rules prohibiting contact with prospective recruits prior to mid-June between their SO and JR years.

My first forays into the internet was on a Rush BBS not long after I enrolled at Penn State. I used to frequent the computer lab in the basement of Sparks and print out other info from the internet on that green & white pin fed paper from an impact printer.
Don't the Bassett's live in the Johnstown area? Just wondering why DT would fly into State College if he was going to Johnstown. Doesn't make any sense to me.
I believe that the Taylors still own the K2Roots juice/spa business in State College with the Dakes. Perhaps he and Neuheisel are doing a cleanse.
Guessing @johnstownsteel got wind of the trip and booked every available rental car and private driver.
I just spotted Taylor and Kennedy in the Johnstown sky above Bo’s house.
Funny thing is, I had a nice chat with Bill Bassett Friday afternoon. Needed a haircut so I stopped in and Bill and Keegan were there. Bill said Keegan needed to get his World Championships haircut. Anyway, we talked about Iowa and what down there and some about Beaus recruitment. He even seemed to enjoy my guesses as to where I think Beau will go and where I'd like him to go. He generally seemed to enjoy talking wrestling and is a pleasant guy to talk to.
Didn't come up but I got a sense they already know where he's heading.
Now that I think about it. It was Thursday we talked. I'll bet they made David wait for them in the car or maybe they left him at the house mowing their lawn. Lol. Hey, it seemed to work for Brands with shoveling snow...
lol, when I enrolled East Halls had a computer lab and I got extra credit for send a professor a message on “the email”. Pretty sure the paper was just regular white and you only had so many pages of free printing. Anyway I remember word of all the alleged Nuheisel sightings in State College on the BWI board after Ganter was canned as OC. Good memories.

I'm going to put in a crystal ball for Bo Bassett to Penn State, confidence level call it 6
I have always thought Bo belonged at PSU. He wrestles very much like the PSU greats of recent years. Relentless pressure and effort. I know it is easy to bag on him and his family, but they seem like dedicated solid people to this outsider. I have never heard Bo speak I'll of anyone.
Never made sense he’d leave, still doesn’t.
I also believe that, if it wasn’t the training situation, it would be something else that brought him back to Pa.
He, unlike Spencer and Jax and as much as anyone, is Pa through and through. The Bassetts are good old Johnstown boys who happen to be really good wrestlers. They hunt and fish and have roots an hour or so from campus. They get the best of all worlds at PSU. Just makes too much sense.
I care. Seems like a lot of people have turned on him but to me he seems like a really good kid and an elite wrestler who has his priorities in the right place. He also fits perfectly in the PSU lineup. The only weight without an elite guy going forward is 149 which is where Bo most likely fits in college. My only concern is his dad but that’s just from reading things on here. I think Cael and Co learned a lot on how to deal with those kind of situations from Suriano and I just don’t see it as an issue in this situation. I think it’s probably been tough for Bo watching Jax, PJ, And Blaze have the success they have had this summer and him not being able to match it. If his goal is to reach those highs and become a multiple time NCAA champ, world champ, and Olympic champ then coming to PSU is the only answer. I hope he makes a decision soon and it’s to the good guys
If you care about landing Melvin Miller, then try to care at least a little about Bassett's landing spot.
Gut says Bassett will join in on Miller's official visits and decide accordingly, sometime in the fall. They may or may not claim to be a package deal, but they'll likely end up at the same school.
