Have no idea how good a coach he is. But like it or not, HC's are judged by their win/loss record. MP is 1-23 all time as HC. His one win was against Fairmont this year.

Swett was struggling against Byrd last year and losing when Byrd lost their starting RB. He is in the midst of a tremendous rebuilding challenge.

You didn't ask about his dad. Bob Paroli was a HOF head coach. I know he had recently still been patrolling the sidelines with Mike as the HC. Don't know if that is still the case. But equating MP as an assistant winning championships is not the same as him being the HC.

As I said, not saying he is a bad coach. Just said his record is what it is.

Earlee Melvin will run for 200 yards. Many don't remember this kid but he was at cape fear and gashed sc for a 70 yard score in the playoffs. He is a very good player, I think he is averaging 200 yds a game. Take Byrd!

#21 Earlee Melvin is quick on his feet.....At one time they were push and pushed and pushed backwards and Melvin came back for the first down on one play. Someone better watch this kid.............Geeeeez
