Question about the AP top 25 poll

There are a handful of games on Saturday August 26. I think USC and Notre Dame are the only teams ranked in the preseason poll that are playing that day. Do they bother to do a new poll on Monday August 28 or do they go into Labor Day weekend with the same poll? What if USC or Notre Dame gets upset on 8/26?

They'd drop ND from #13 to #14
