Let me ask you both- I am an offensive guy. While I know alot about defensive alignment and schemes, i don't know much about DL technique. Does Wilson teach the 4-point stance and punch to keep us from getting upfield quickly- making us read and react at the LOS?

Also- wouldnt we be better served to just do this just at DT? While you dont want your ends flying upfield- they do need that quicker first step they can get out of a 3 point as opposed to a 4-point. I think this is one reason we don't get as many sacks as we should.

I can't claim to know a lot either but after watching one our pitiful performances one Saturday, I really focused on some DL play in the NFL that Sunday.

Saw a lot of stuff I didn't see our team do. The swim move, the duck under, stunts, DL face cutting guys, designed delayed interior blitzes. Granted you can't do that stuff all the time or you'll get burned a ton by the right play call - but in some 3rd and long situations for instance I didn't see a lot of pass rush specialty moves/plays out of our guys.

And sometimes you just have to guess. But all that causes the the QB to question what he's seeing and expected - we looked pretty predictable most of the time from my vantage point.
