If you are going to be on here posting scores and bragging on your team Starmount like we do the same about our teams. To me, I think that makes you involved and open for questioning or debates.
Do you just want to take part in your own way and not be questioned or debated with ? If you don't want to be a part of the boards and be questioned or debated like the rest of us then just say so and I will try not to look at you as a part of the message board anymore and ask you no questions. But that's hard when you are on here being a part of the board posting and bragging about Starmount. Just say you don't want my pointing things out you won't like and I will try to ignore your posts. Because you post on here I see you as being open for debate & questions and part of the rest of us. All you have to do to keep this from blowing out of proportion with everyone looking to get their brownie points is post STOP matter closed or I Am Ok With It. and the matter closed. And you will get it your way !

You need to start your own forum website. Pay for the address, you can post/allow/ban/delete whatever you want. You obviously have beef with anyone and everyone who doesn't agree with you. Go start dabearsare#1andimnotcrazy.com. I'll guarantee that domain name is available.

Even when Starmount is good I don't think I've ever seen Deana overly brag on them. Is she proud of those good teams? Absolutely. Does she have that right? Absolutely. She's been an ambassador and great asset to Starmount for years. But she's never let that get in the way of anything else and spreads the love for high school sports equally. She has put a lot of miles on the road and hours into this site for high school athletes across the state.

Meanwhile let's not forget the days in which we had multiple Mount Airy threads going at once, usually about the same game.

Oh you mean like someone did the night of Mount Airy vs Reidsville that stopped in the second half.

Deana & Sportsnut17 do need 2 or 3 more Mods. Used to be around 4 or 5. Any volunteers. I for one would be fair and give warnings before a vacation. I have had more management experience than any of the two on here. 30 plus years of management experience to be exact and 9 years managing the Mount Airy Photography and darkroom and was the last fulltime photographer before they went digital. in the late 1990s. More than willing to give it a try. Fair and balanced. Any more volunteers that can be fair ? I know I play a role of being an *** but someone has to make this board lively. And I am good at it. volunteer , no pay ...

TD, it's all about respect. If you were to have a conversation or respectful debate about something related about football with Deana, she would probably respond, if time allowed. Realize that not everyone has as much free time as you seem to have. Also, when you come on the boards and start complaining because she went to a top 8 instead of 10 or 12, there's nothing to say to you. She is the one in charge and she can do as she pleases.

There is a list of rules and she has enforced them over the years. Now, I'm sure there are times something gets past her (and other mods), but just because someone says something that you don't agree with or something that hurt your feelings, doesn't mean that a mod needs to always step in. Be an adult and ignore the post and go about your day.

I respect your post but some of you talk as though I am the only one that complains. I see it every day and if us complainers were to stop then you would see half or less of these posts. Hey, give me credit for getting people's attention when the board dies down some. I can lifely it up. LOL ...Joking. Hell, when I want say what a couple on here want me to say, which is Mount Airy is going to beat East Surry the I catch hell from a few and I am not putting a target on their backs in a year with only 8 seniors and loaded with sophomores. I am not getting any of them hurt by doing so. Then I catch hell when I say ES probably wins. So if I am going to catch hell for the truth then I just as well stir the pot and get everyone off that topic onto somethings true and somethings stupid. I can take it and go right along with the bashing I get. If I am going to get it over something simple but true then I just give them something to give me a rough time over. I get a rough time because I won't say the Bears are going to win and if I did I would still catch hell. So I am just having fun my way to pass the time which I have plenty of until it's over. Someone on the other thread with a poll said I needed to go. I am not going anywhere. If I did they would find someone else to harass, that the nature of the boards. Good Luck to the Bears Friday, give them a game to remember even if you win or lose. Hope neither team gets any injuries and goes into the playoffs healthy !
I hope they can meet again in the playoffs but in the western finals.....:).

It's not about arguing with other posters. It's about the constant complaining to Deana about what people say to you or when someone gives you a hard time. Once someone gets under your skin, you stoop to lower level, type up a long paragraph about how they are breaking rules and calling you names.

At the end of the day, it's a forum, online. Believe it or not, you're allowed to ignore the internet, you can sign out of your account, you can hit the ignore button, you can block the whole page, but taking some of this stuff personal and then going off on people (and asking for topics to get locked) is what gets people to say things like "he's off his meds".

You commented several times about how it was unfair that NCPreps did a top 8 instead of 10 or 12. You have still yet to answer, how it was unfair? Is it because they didn't include MA that week? There's also another post about how Smith from MA wasn't recognized as player of the week because he had a lot of yards and numerous touchdowns. There's a lot of athletes and teams in NC, and there is absolutely no way that all of them can be recognized. Create your own post to show recognition, but don't complain because NC Preps didn't create the post. There's 11 weeks of football and over 400 schools. Just think, 400 schools with a low number of 11 guys that play (this will factor in the teams that have offense and defensive players; as well as, teams that don't have any good athletes), that's 4400 players that have to be evaluated.

Took up for you before you came back and my health want let me be at the games. I tried to attend the game the first game and set up at the pressbox opposite side you did the last time I saw you will I took pictures on the field. Not the same healthy person I was in 2012, so stop with that I don't come to the games. I was attending games before you were born. Had to leave at halftime because of pain. Got to meet bareman's wife and she is a very nice lady

Guys, here is my take. TD is just desperate for attention. That is why he brings up rubbish like this and the infamous "why 8 teams". When we respond, even negatively, we simply feed his need for recognition. I urge of all us to stop responding to post such as this. Respond to factual questions. Turn the keyboard over when he posts stuff like this or his "woe is me, everyone is picking on me" posts. It will be interesting what lengths he will go to.

LOL, looks like someone else is loving the attention but I know she can read and comprehend what was asked but she is playing this out for the attention she is getting. Guess she does want to have her posts questioned and be a part of the board for what ? Attention and support, and someone said she was to busy for this. ;) Seems I got her some attention for all her hard work. She should be thanking me, ;););)

As far as me just wanting Mount Airy in the top 8, this is a post I made to a poster from here that posts there also and I gave him this answer.

TD try some Jack Daniels it might mellow you out. Also, I would stay away from the smokable hemp. I heard it’s all talk and no action.

It’s funny everybody fussing about TD Friday. All you have to do is click on his profile and click on ignore. Then you never have to see what he post. Pretty simple solution.
