I wouldn’t call Paul Quinn a death penalty case.

The team was shut down due to financial issues at the college.

I remember MVSU ran a formation where all the receivers lined up and left the line of scrimmage like planes off an aircraft carrier. I also remember the 49ers running it with Jerry Rice his rookie year. When Bill Walsh borrows from your offense, that's a high complement.
