R.I.P. Tim McCarver

I only knew him as a broadcaster but enjoyed hearing him working games and telling stories behind the mic.
He was basically the personal catcher for two truly great pitchers, Steve Carlton and Bob Gibson. Not a great hitter, but his catching was good enough that he played MLB games in 4 decades, 50's to 80's.
