Did the qb play and the rb (11) that lit us up for the 80 yd run. The lost a lot on the lines for sure so if they stunk it up i can see it being because they are suspect up front other than the starting inside lb #40.
I saw some footage it looks like raider are still smallish at linebacker. I did see one kid that really looked like a playmaker on the line #90 I believe.

Yes it is i have no idea. I was going to slide over last night but the old man was just too tired. You guys will be fine. Word is that 71st might whip both of us. They scrimmaged Dudley last night and everyone is talking about their offense. I knew they would be good on that side of the ball!
A plane landed today at RDU with its nose gear not working. Luckily, HSFB Man was on the plane. The pilot asked him to take a seat in the back of the plane which instantly lifted the nose of the plane 45 degrees. The pilot was able to land the plane on the two back wheels. The nose NEVER touched the ground until the plane came to a complete stop and HSFB Man walked to the front again to exit the plane. The nose then came down hard like a fat kid on a teeter/totter!!
Defense was very aggressive as promised. much improved over the last few years. Offensively, still have some kinks to work out. Still a QB battle and it was easy to see why. Hood very impressive for his age. Loved the aggressiveness of the defense. #17 was everywhere making plays.
There linebackers have looked like JV players in terms of size? is that still the case. They just don't grow them like they used to. I want them to be great again (heard that somewhere) it really has not been very competitive and I like RC when they are good.
Based on what I saw yesterday... if RC is pegged to finish second in that conference behind Scotland then that conference is not strong at all. I certainly don't think RC has much for Scotland.
Wasn't trying to throw shade-- I just had expected a lot more out of Richmond tbh. They have loads of speed... but the oline really struggled. Was just honestly expecting a lot more (take it with a grain of salt, not sure if there was injuries, if there was guys playing out of position, or how much of a mix of 1's and 2's it actually was).
And yes.... we looked far worse in our scrimmage there so RC I'd say is better than us lol

That makes sense then... LKN definitely was able to get after the QB.. especially when he rolled out. And I wouldn't say LKN has a dominant dline. To be fair to RC-- LKN is extremely disciplined in everything they do... they are always a hard team to really break down
Two scrimmages in three days against 2of the better teams. I think the Cape Fear team won the Eastern 4a last year. Richmond didn't seem to have much problem...like you said, Lake Norman is very disciplined. Richmond will be cranking come playoff time. Undefeated means nothing if you lose the last game...Go Raiders...
I was mostly surprised at the size-- I didn't really see as much of it as I expected (not having been real familiar with RC prior). Have no doubts the oline will gel-- especially if RC has a number of new guys on the line this year. I really liked that RB y'all have. Both QB's showed some explosiveness running the ball too. #12 I think showed me a bit more passing the ball. The way the QBs rotated in and out... is Richmond still trying to figure out a starter? Or do y'all run a 2 QB system?

They had players back then and they intimidated everyone for the most part. That as far from the case these days. The kids today have no idea of the RC of old was like and could car less. Thats just the truth. I hope they do get back to the the old days
