Randleman vs Reidsville

This game is, on the surface, a revenge game for the last time these two met in the playoffs. In 2010 the Tigers came to town and badly defeated the Rams in a game where the score got out of hand.
But in all honesty, this game is an opportunity lost. A few times over the years, Randleman has come up short one round too soon to revisit Reidsville. I have been wanting to lay a beating on my neighbors. It’s a shame that a depleted Randleman team will travel to Reidsville, the revenge factor isn’t as sweet when you know what is coming.
Randleman also bounced the Rams from this springs baseball playoffs.

edit:talked to my son who was on 2010 team. He straightened me out.

How the hell do you figure that in 2010 Randleman "badly" beat the Rams?? the final score was 38-35....lol....a loss...but badly???

Yeah that was a close game in 2010. Rams would have been better that year if not for some players getting kicked off the team

Maybe my memory is faulty. I thought they dropped 50 on us. Maybe the memory haunts me because no one figured the Rams would lose. Not our best team, but no one expected a first round loss.

correct...Eastern Randolph beat the Rams 50-23 during the regular season...rushed the ball on Reidsville like crazy....something you rarely see..............Reidsville finished the 2010 season with a 9-3 record.....................

if erkidd (the poster on nc preps) sees this post that you had crediting the team in orange and blue (as he calls Randleman) with beatdown instead of his beloved Eastern Randolph he will be most offended......................lol......

Dang it man don’t get ER confused with those little blue and orange felines that ducked ER in 83 to go unbeaten and win their third straight title.

As far as this go Randleman has good size, a nice left handed QB, and a really good tough RB. But the Rams will roll in this one big. The clock will be running.

sorry...didn't really catch any scores...I was down in the Morehead City area watching my grandson play in a JV and Varsity game for Croatan vs. West Carteret....usually I'm pretty good on keeping up...and yes I do check the 1A teams as well....we lost to a pretty darn good one 2 years ago (East Surry)........

My main memory of that game is a Tiger getting absolutely destroyed on a peel back block on a kickoff return. Same hit happens today, the refs would call in a SWAT team.

Wow Croatan have a lifelong friend who’s involved with Croatan. My family had a place at Emerald Isle for over 30 years. Love it down there

yeah my oldest daughter and her family (husband, 2 boys 13 and almost 15) moved directly across the street from Croatan high school in new development...my son-in-law was promoted to First Sgt. in highway patrol and they moved there in June.....long ways from here (235 miles) but you're right it's a nice area and Emerald Isle (which I never been to before) is really nice...along with Atlantic Beach.........................

Yep, that was definitely ER. I was in the house for that one. Actually sat on the Reidsville side. I could not believe what I was watching. Neither were the Ram fans. They were fit to be tied.

Craziest thing about that win is that it happened during one of ER's worst seasons in recent memory. Cats went 5-7 that year.

Oh.....and as far as the Reidsville/Randleman game goes, the Rams shouldn't have much of a problem. As long as they contain the Tiger ground attack, they're good as gold.
