I hope our administration isn't short sighted when it comes to look at what they would owe Flood versus what it's going to cost in the long run in lost donations, lost ticket revenue and things like that. MD should be his last game and hoping our administration has been working behind the scenes for a quick announcement of his replacement.

Not firing Flood will cost RU millions next year in lost donations, lost season ticket revenue, lost Parking revenue, concessions, etc. Not to mention Barrachi giving the salute to the RU fans and alienating the fan base .

I on't think the ticket revenue lost will be as big as you think.

With both Michigan and Penn St visiting next year the athletic dept can make a lot of the money back lost on season tickets with the inflating single game tickets.

No one on the board talks about football anymore. With no chance of winning, the fans will come out. Right, you may have been the 20k that followed football before Schiano and you will still be one of the 20K with Flood.

Lol, something tells me that you didn't take economics in school, or are forgetting what you learned.

Not withstanding the fact that you're suggesting Rutgers athletics depend on sucker fans from Penn State and Michigan paying vastly inflated ticket prices for revenue, how exactly would that even come close to replacing lost season ticket, individual ticket, and parking revenues from Rutgers fans for SEVEN games?

Trust me, Julie has already run the numbers and has a 100 page PowerPoint outlining the scenarios.

If Flood stays it'll cost the university millions.

If Flood is retained, I look forward to watching PSU and Mich on TV

it would be naive to think that B1G boys in Chicago don't care. especially with the broadcasting rights contract looming ahead. half empty stadiums don't look good on TV. i think someone posted that the cable subscriptions increased in NJ since we joined B1G. let's see what happens to those cable subscriptions if we keep this downward trend. the only reason why i didn't cut the cord is because of football games. i find myself not watching as much this season already.

And many of those sucker State Penn and Michigan fans will be buying those tickets from disgruntled RU fans after the season begins to tank with Elmer Fudd still coaching. In fact dynamic pricing will only come up with TSFP as Michigan won't be close to a sellout.
