With the regular season wrapping up, here’s some stats to look at from the previous two seasons results. I only went back two years because of the realignment.

2022: The eventual state champion only allowed 4.7 ppg in the Reg. Season and 6.81 ppg for the year.

The offense averaged 41.8 for the Reg. Season and 38.88 for the entire year.

2021: The eventual State Champion only allowed 6.1 ppg in the Reg. season and 7.94 for the year.

The offense averaged 47.5 in the Reg. Season and 46.94 for the year.

Typically the most balanced teams win it all.

Recent 1 seeds:
2022 3A west 1 seed made it to 4th round, 4A East made it to States.

2021 3A west 1 seed made it to second round, 3A East Made it to 4th round.

Will a 1 seed finally get over the hump this year?

It is hard to tell sometimes but that’s why East Lincoln caught most by surprise last season because the talk was who did they play all year. Things will become more clear in the second round or third round.
