Considering Samuel was averaging about 250 a game, it was a great effort (especially in second half) ..,.but 89 is only 11 short of 100.
No doubt: Those were two tough-to-bring down runners and Rams D put the clamps on them when the game was in the balance.

Mansfield, Neal and Harrison with monster games on D....especially in the 2nd half.....1 junior (Mansfield) and 2 freshmen......................

This was a great win for the program. I just remember losing to wrh in a back and forth game in 17 and east surry as well in 19. Good to get one of those to bounce our way

EA has always been a team to go undefeated in the regular season and lose 3rd round. Great teams that just cant put it all together. Hell, if they didn't pass the ball the other night might have been a different outcome

Absolutely true. EA QB completed 12 passes - but 5 of them to the Rams. When 42% of your completions are to the other team you have problems.

Finally had the time to watch the game early this morning. Neal should have had two interceptions. You don’t catch the ball on fourth down. At least one EA cramp was very convenient, almost looked like he ‘took a dive’ to my untrained eyes. Game reminds me of 2005 state championship. Losing by 8 with four turnovers.

lol....give him a break "90"....the kid is only a freshman and a baller.....I'll admit that knocking the ball to the ground was the play but at least he was in position................

this friday at home vs. High Point Andrews...both teams are 3-1 but all of HPA wins were against winless teams..................

He didn't try to return it ... he made the catch and went to the turf ... smart play

I believe you are thinking of the game ending interception not the one on fourth down

Yes I know that. They in earlier post were referring to a pick he had gotten on a 4th and long and should have dropped it to save field position.

I watched game on YouTube today … now I remember the pick you were talking about… 4th down play served as a short punt so he could have dropped it intentionally … but 15 has become a great ball hawk so I’m glad he made the pick, the 2nd of his 3 in the game.

Was Devin Clark on the current team? Absolutely senseless violence against him and the young lady murdered in Orange County. Condolences to Eastern Alamance and Carter Ridge

All over the news. 18 year player from Eastern Alamance and a young woman from Carter Ridge HS were murdered by a 17 year old unnamed male. Not sure if he's a current or graduated last year. Very sad

awful..no haven't seen the news...never heard of Carter Ridge HS...there is a Cedar Ridge HS in Orange county not far from Mebane..........
