Should be another blow out win for the rams don't see anyone in conference even scoring against the defense. I see a lot of playing time for the 2nd string. Rams by as many as they want for the next few games

Reidsville was unscored on in conference games last year - can they continue the streak?
Carboro has won 2 games - didn't play Friday so they have 2 weeks to prepare for Reidsville.
No matter if it a blowout or not, Rams need to stay focused - that's some thing last year's team did very well.

This was my main concern when the conference was announced. Football gate pays for everything. We will make nothing off the conference games this rotation.
Andrews only had a handful of fans after Magna Vista brought a good crowd and Northwest crowd was decent. But you're correct, plenty of seats will be available for these Mid-State games. At least homecoming this week will court a few of the court-watchers.

Rams' schedule gets questioned on these forums all the time but they had just four options to fill out the open dates ... and they took 4-A W-S Reynolds and 4-A Northwest Guilford along with recently-powerful High Point Andrews and Magna Vista.
Reynolds is 5-1 and Magna Vista is 3-2 having recovered from the 35-0 blanking in Reidsville to win their next two 49-0 and 41-14. And Rockingham County is 4-2 and could be on the way to an upper-level finish in its 3-A conference.

The homecoming gate will still be good. You have to think it will be a lot of curious people who haven't seen the rams yet.
Our schedule isn't as bad as people say it is. But I wish we we had a page, Dudley, Western Alamance. Even a Ef or Wf on the schedule.
Can't do much worst than the Andrews gate. I counted 16 fans on the visitors side at kickoff. A few more drifted in later but didn't hang around for the finish, which I don't blame them.
I hope all of you realise we don't pick or choose to be in this conference. TBH I'm glad JM is gone. We beat them just as bad as the rest. The state puts us where they put us and that's it. Look at other conferences, their bottom dwellers are just like ours. Having only 5 teams doesn't leave much room for failure.
Mule the visiting crowd for Andrews is always around that number when they come to Ramseur.
Does not matter if they are 7-0 and looking to win conference or 2-5 and hoping to make playoffs.
Andrews usually has a good football team but fans appear to not travel that well.
Hey 3364 life ... what do you suggest? Reidsville only has about 750 students. What conference would you put them in? And remember conferences are more than football. Reidsville is on the opposite end of the standings in volleyball, soccer, cross country and several of the other sports. Carrboro had 50 cross country runners last year and Reidsville barely fielded a team. (I haven't heard anything about this fall).
State has to put schools in conferences where the student ADMs are similar and the the geography makes sense. Not many 2-A schools in these parts.
J-M is closer to Randolph County so it was logical for them to be put in the conference with those schools.
Again Mr. 364LIFE, we are open to suggestions. What 2-A conference should Reidsville be in?

We had about 10-25 people come on their side when they played us at home 3 years ago. They were nice people though so that made up for it.
The worst I've ever seen was the first year we played Atkins when they were awfully bad. They brought maybe 10 people; had it not been for the band it woulda been dead silent on their side..
Just my 2 cents but I really think it would benefit more to have a student discount or kids discount in general. I know $7 may not be that much alone but if a parent has multiple kids then $30-50 makes a huge difference plus concessions and that's 4-5 times a year or at least 11 if you go to every game.

I think it does cuz u already know the outcome of the games. The next 4 game will prob be like 50 or 60 to zero. But it was like that last year and look what happened won the title
Even in the playoffs last yr think our closet game was in 4th round against lincolnton and it was 28-7 or 35-7

i know you guys are very good. however, if youre blowing every other team out by 50 or 60 pts., im sorry, your conference is weak. but that in no way takes away from how good you are. it just is what it is.
We've beaten everyone like that the last two years. We've averaged over 50 per game and allowed less than 7. That includes regular season, playoffs, state title game, 2a, 3a, 4a schools and a traditional power from Virginia.
We also blew out Easter 2A Champion Edenton Holmes with a running clock last December in the State Championship game.
Guess they were just another weak team from a weak conference.
