Well, its coming. Middle school has least students it has ever had. No jobs = Fewer families = fewer kids.
Well hearing that it will probably be date night this coming Friday again...
If I didn't have a kid playing I would definitely skip this game and the rest of the games until 2nd round, and I'm a die hard fan.
We need folks at the home games. With the long break and no big home games, gates are way down. We need the gate to help the program. Saw where Tuscola and Pisgah had 40k in split the pot. We had 200.
Correct. Tanner's family owns Ye Old Country Kitchen in Snow Camp. It's about 15 mins from JM. He's offering a discount to all fans in Ram Gear next week. They've been huge supporters of the program. The food is great and would be a great way of fans giving a little back for all their support
Part of the problem with enrollment is the county school board continues to cater to certain groups. Why do kids that live on Vance street, Ashcroft, and Reid school road go to Rockingham? Let's face it we all know the reason.
I heard its barely over a 800 like it was said earlier we will be 1A before too long. I hate that idea.
I bet if we played somebody like Dudley win or lose the gate would be ridiculous.

The ADM numbers used for playoffs is based on the first five days of classes unless it has been changed recently.
I don't care if Reidsville has only 500 students, 1A state championship trophies will look just as good as 2A ones in the trophy case. If some people don't want to go to Reidsville so be it.
Not true when the school was first built ... Rockingham County High school was built to consolidate the aging schools at Ruffin, Wentworth and Bethany in 1976-77. At the time, there were multiple school systems in the county – thus the reason for those three 1-A schools' students all attending RCHS. Reidsville had its own school board and the county its own - not sure about Western Rockingham which had Madison-Mayodan and Stoneville high schools. Mule you can correct this if need be.
But when the county's school systems merged into one in 1993, the school board at the time could (should) have used geography to redistrict students to the closest schools possible. The students from the Ruffin area should have been districted to Reidsville (17 minutes) instead of Rockingham High (21 minutes). Also some in the northeastern part of the old Bethany school district are a lot closer to Reidsville.

Seems that Morehead went 4-A for a few years after 1992 and the other three county school remained in the same conference and classification. Reidsville and McMichael stayed in the same 2-A conference through 2008 and since then Reidsville has been 2-A and the other three county schools have been 3-A.

I need a pair so I can erase the countless number of times "awfully good" people said "my kids will never go to a school with 'those people'. It's quite sad,actually.
