I have you guys vs Mt. Heritage in the Western Finals with you facing the winner of Northeastern/WRH for the state championship. I am not wasting my breath discussing Shelby in 2A anymore, talked to a credible source earlier who feels we will be definitely 2AA. When the official word comes out, and we learn there will be no RHS vs Shelby possibility, I will be wishing #30, #90, and #67 of Reidsville good luck in the 2A playoffs, especially #67, it’s his last ride in a Rams uniform.

I do think you are right about Mt. Heritage. They had very few seniors last year and were a very solid team when we played them. QB is outstanding. Some big ol mountain boys that know how to play and are very well coached.

Secondary is the main concern now. Don't have the lock-down corner like Chestnut of last year.
Cummings QB and outstanding receivers had a big game against Rams -- 16-27-2 for 232 yards.
Our boys and East Bladen might have a little something to say about that.
Besides, most of the brackets I've seen have WRH and Northeastern playing in the 3rd round. Unless someone upsets East Duplin, Wallace will have a 2nd place conference draw.

Nope! When a Mountain team is considered your strongest projected opponent, that’s indeed a cakewalk, but you guys are small 2A, and your adm reflects that, cannot help your placement and the favorable path to the championship, can’t penalize you for adm numbers.
But, believe you me, if you saw Monroe, Shelby, Huss, and Northside last season, you’re talking some fast athletes, some brothas who’d match your Rams athlete for athlete. I’m out, though. We’re not playing you guys, no need to waste the energy, let us both be great, but Reidsville will not be challenged in 2A. Shelby, South Point, Hibriten, ND, Newton Conover would give you all that you want and then some, different animals than anyone you have played this year, and that’s a fact. I do respect you guys, though. Reidsville commands it.

C’mon, man. 2A west will be so weak that we all can’t even project the rest of the field outside of Reidsville and The Heritage, as they like to call themselves. The big dogs are in 2AA once again this season. But, again, Reidsville can’t be penalized for its adm numbers.

Reidsville’s belongs in 2AA with the rest of the “wolves”. Could you imagine that field/bracket? The winner would be top 5 regardless of classification. Whomever came out victorious would have certainly earned it.

Let me say this, before I depart. This Reidsville vs Shelby thing, at the end of the day, it’s just fun and games. We’re all just very passionate about our alma maters, teams, and cities.We go back and forth out of respect for each other, whether it’s indirectly or directly. The best will always clash at the top, a la Frazier and Ali, they never got along as competitors, but the respect was there, mutually. I salute Shelby, the Reidsville’s, Clintons, South Points, Lincolntons, etc. of the world, a lot of rich history and traditions with those programs. No one in the state of NC can deny this.

Uh, Lion, before you start talking about lack of "brothas" you might want to actually check out the Mountain Heritage team.
Id like to see Heritage make it to western final and play Reidsville. I don't think Heritage would beat them, in fact I think Reidsville is two or three touchdowns better, but I don't think they'll be a cakewalk for any small 2a team. They do have western North Carolina's all time leader in total yards and rushing yards in their QB, Robinson. Like I said though, if they meet, I think Reidsville gets the better of them by two or three touchdowns, but if you allow Heritage to hold the ball for basically the whole half, like they have been known to do, they can hang around and have a chance at the end of the game.
If things work out like I think they will, I honestly see Mt Herritage vs Reidsville in Western Finals and WRH or NE in State Finals. I think it will be a great semi finals
