This is the best I have felt since our opener. After all of the crap that we have gone through, this team came out and played hard. They finally decided to really blitz and it worked. Laviano did a good job when you consider the situation and team he was facing (other than the last play spike ). Carroo is a beast!
There were a good number of Spartans who looked like they had gone through the wringer at the end of the game. If they were looking for a walk over, they were certainly shocked by what was happening.
Crowd looked to be great and fully engaged in the game as they should have been.

The real question is can we keep up this intensity the rest of the way. If so, who knows?

Great game to be there. The crowd was wild the whole game. Perfection would have been to start at 3:30 pm and end with the score reversed. And it was very, very close. All in all, a wonderful day in Piscataway.

I feel the same way. I went into the stadium with low expectations for the evening, expecting to depart at halftime with the game already out of reach. I also didn't expect the kind of crowd intensity that I saw, just about from the get-go.

If the team can maintain the intensity level it demonstrated last night for the remainder of the season - with the added aggressiveness on both sides of the ball, we might well have a decent season after all.
