Easy, because they know they are hugely unpopular because they were chaotic, destructive and will harm their constituents, including the elderly and veterans. Codifying bad policy decisons also isn't good for their careers.
When will your DA ever be accountable to the Constitution that prohibits abuse of recess appointments? You prove your stupidity every time you respond to one of Growls tweets because you have no idea what you're talking about. If we jailed everyone you think should be locked up, 99% of Americans would be behind bars. These folks need to be held accountable. I'm afraid though that there is too much rot to ever fix it.
"Their" town halls? These town halls were called and scheduled by GOP House members and Senators! The fact that they are getting booed, and receiving virtually no cheers, suggests that a whole lot of their constituents are unhappy with them. In fact, the RNC's direction to House members has for several months been to simply avoid holding town halls or other constituent meetings in their home districts. THAT is not a good look, although it is perfectly understandable.Looks like you aren't paying attention to what your beloved liberal party is doing with their "town halls."
as usual, you might be 100% right. On the other hand it's entirely possible the town halls might have been stacked with democrats. You never know."Their" town halls? Many of them started requiring proof that you live in the district so no matter their political persuasion, a constituent is a constituent. And LOL at the never-ending claims of paid protestors when Magas get heckled or marched on.as usual, you might be 100% right. I just saw an article about some CEO whose company provides crowds for protests. Of course the protesters get paid. He remarked how business is great. Be a middle of the road guy, I'll assume republicans are out on the streets as much as democrats and probably some who just like to protest. A buck is a buck
Based on that reception, I agree that she doesn't have much of a chance next year because I do believe the constituents are anxious to put a stop to Orange Shrek running roughshod over this country, without any checks and balances, though I expect him to pull every dirty trick in the book to keep from being held accountable. Now THAT was funny. My normal impulse would be to say "Give the woman a chance to speak," but this particular woman has done a whole lot to alienate her constituents. Plus, she made it quite clear that she wanted to bail out on them to take the U.N. Ambassador job. She's lucky that New York's 21st Congressional District is deeply red, and that she ran against a weak opponent in 2024, when she was perceived as unbeatable. (That opponent, one Paula Collins, was widely described as a "cannabis tax attorney," Wut?!) Stefanik won 62% of the vote. That won't heppen next year. She'll be lucky to win, and definitely will not win if Kathy Hochul pushes redistricting through.
Alina is incredibly talented, hardworking and of course smoking hot!!!We the people in fact do NOT want Alina Habba confirmed. Rather, we want to see her pursuing the career for which her talents and interests are best suited: cocktail waitressing at Hooters.
