Schedule is good but not as daunting as it seems. Southern Lee, and Myers Park will be way down.

Butler will be good, but maybe not as good defensively, but much better offensively. Cardinal Gibbons will be good as always. 71st is a toss up but I'd go RC. They just dont lose to 71st. If RC loses that game could be a bad domino to fall. 2-3 at worst, but 4-1 is a distinct possibility.

RC had a historically down year in 2022 dont expect a repeat in 23. They wont be state title good, but they will be state title/semi final contender good.

Big question for the Raiders will be what happens at qb...Im hoping the backup from last year can answer the bell....Want take long to answer it with that schedule...Losing both of those huge ,experienced tackles will be hard to replace....

I don’t know much about this raider team hopefully they will do good . As far as the talent goes, I seen more of them into soccer then football. More middle school and up is playing soccer. I know a few who stop playing football honestly due to some of the coaches saying they act like they don’t care they just there. I am not trying to be the one saying off with the coaches head but something is wrong somewhere.
It also could be just laziness!!!
To many kids rather play video games then play sports.
( But play attention to the soccer team and you will see what I am talking about )

Well , U could be right...The guys in charge of the middle school programs have to build and recruit there players and team this day and time......If the coach is coaching just because he has to coach the team , then it want work and the kids will recognize it....To me football is the toughest sport to coach and recruit anyway.....Times have changed...A coach who is not walking the halls trying to get kids to come out is really not interested in his team and program...One of the biggest problems in RC is the lack of the city of Rockingham having NO RECREATION FOOTBALL IN FULL UNIFORMS....Get that going again and things will IMPROVE , from the middle school on up...

You are 100% right .
I have a little girl who plays park&rec soccer she is 6 . I have a grandson who is 10 that plays parks & rec soccer and flag football and it’s bad to say but them parks & rec coaches be recruiting more then middle & high school. I see just in flag football ( I wish the city of Rockingham would go to tackle football) they have potential to be great players they have the height, the size and they speed , but when they get to middle school ball and the coaches don’t keep pushing them then they will fall in the cracks. They’re a few kids I know that loved football and wanted to play for Richmond all their life but they said the way the coaches act like they didn’t want them there . I want say know names of the coaches who done this but all I could do is shake my head because how can we as adults tell them to go out their anyways & prove them you are a great player when they act like they don’t want you their
Things need to change in Richmond county we need coaches that being at Richmond is a big deal , recruiting is a big deal , keep them motivated… most of all show them you care …. Stop acting like you don’t stink at times , and you are know better then any one else
