They ain't loosing this game. After round 1 everything is up for grabs for any surviving teams.Richmond sort of an unknown having played just 3 games with just one of those a team that can play in Pinecrest whom they went OT winning 42-35...Richmond could lose this game or win the whole thing ?????????????
Pinecrest wasn't a test? That seems to be dismissive. I think RC will blow the doors off MC by half. They are well rested and while nothing is like playing RC is no stranger to playing in big games and the layoff IMO only means fresh leges or an already fast and dangerous team.I think this is a really dangerous game. They are coming off a 2 week break and haven't played a lot of football this year to begin with. Penalties and turnovers will be huge factors as in any game but the lack of snaps taken increases the chances. Plus not having been pushed or tested this year doesn't help. So who knows.
Totally agree, devilmac99. This game shouldn't even be close, I anticipate it ending up around 48-14 or something to that effect. I hope that MIddle Creek is in it and finds a way to be more competitive, but let's call it what it is, Richmond has one of the best rosters in N.C. from top to bottom. The Raiders have numbers, speed, depth, the total package.Pinecrest wasn't a test? That seems to be dismissive. I think RC will blow the doors off MC by half. No disrespect intended towards Pinecrest but the game was 21-0 with 6 minutes to go in 1st half. Richmond started turning the ball over and getting bad penalties to help Pinecrest get back in it. Credit to Pinecrest for taking advantage of the mistakes but without those mistakes not sure that game is as close or interesting. Overtime, Richmond scores 1st play....Pinecrest picks up 3 yds in 4 downs. Richmond had 11 Defensive penalties for 108 yards that game.
So like i said no disrespect to Pinecrest but I stand by the statement Richmond has not been in a true test. I hope you are right, I hope they do blow the doors off of MC but I won't be surprised if we are in a dog fight.
Exactly Chris. They could have folded. I agree RC is good but in 2019 I was all over them and boy did Vance show me and them. This year I think they ultimately face Grimsley and will probably go down again but I like them in the east. You are correct, Richmond did have the 21-0 lead and was looking to pull away, but.... Pinecrest made plays, yes they had a few calls go their way but had one or two go against them late as well. Pinecrest found a way to turn the momentum and took advantage of it.
Omg that's a good one.The Mike Castellano Bowl.
