Daddy backed out on the idea of sending him to prep school in Dallas. Can only help our case.
Of course not. But there's an infinitely better chance of us landing him if we're in the running than if we're not.
in the minority, but I don't see us being "in the running" as a sucess, at the end of the day (if he goes elsewhere).
Recruiting never changes. The lottery tickets never pick MSU boys. In any sport. We don't get the greatest football player and we don't get the greatest basketball player in the country. Ever. Never ever ever. Stop the cycle of getting MSU fans excited for the chance that we might just get this one this time. Nope. We aint. And I'm also not winning the Powerball this Saturday. You aren't either.
Ignore him and maybe he'll stay with the rest of the EDs
So if Ray wins 19 games this coming season and 21 games the following season, but doesn't land Newman- you want Ray fired?
Its clear progress from year to year. Its sustained growth. Its with a roster that follows the coach instead of runs around without control.
Who are you? Oh yeah the guy that that strokes to being "elite" go home back to elitedawgs and stick to getting into E-sword fights with engie it'd be for the best.
My point is that he has spent so much time recruiting Mailk instead of dividing up that time between him and other players that it will be a huge loss if we don't sign him.
This guy was for getting Boise State to the "SOUTHEASTERN"...Conference....We have to overlook him sometimes.
thats just simply not true in basketball. We actually have history on our side with an instate kid this highly touted. Jonathan Bender, Monta Ellis, Travis Outlaw, Renardo Sidney even John Riek in '08 was the listed as the number 1 center and player for a while no matter how these players ended up potential wise. They were all top 15 guys and signed
Good point. Also, Vernon Goodridge was ranked the number one center in the nation (by Scout, I think) when we signed him.
The signing period is still a long way off, but I'm glad we may be in the hunt.
