But I was hoping the old NCPreps was being moved over on August 1st.

I'm just trying to help people understand something that I guess I don't.

On3 didn’t have a UNC team site and it will have one on August 1st.

NCPreps is already moved and been here since July 1st. Message board stuff is being migrated (moved) over by priority basis. We were told everything should be done July 24th.

This new ON1NCPreps has just started with one then two, then more have arrived today, and with no high school sports going on, it has already gotten more than 443 messages posted in a few days, and the old board with many, many more people posting had, I believe, 603,000 plus messages posted. I hope to see it back by the end of the month, as they are hoping for July 24th.

Some of us have been here for many years. I can remember starting NCPreps around 2008 or 2009 as photo0001 and changing to TD-FridayNight in 2016, and I have seen some old timers pass away after many years. NCPreps grows on you, and even when you think it is time to give it up, you just can't step away. Sometimes you just need something that you like to do to keep your mind busy.

All I can say is shame on all the people who have not found their way here. We all need to help them if we can, just to show On1 how strong NCPreps is. I believe starting tomorrow, we will see many more here. NCPreps strong ! ! !

You guys really do represent prep sports well. I used to think that our NorCalPreps was a hot site. And they are compared to the average. But you guys really outshine the rest of the old Rivals sites.

Now here an interesting fact - we are only Northern California - Southern California is where all the high ranked teams are located - at least in the last 6 or seven years. But there is no rivals prep site for SoCal. Go figure...

Here's another interesting fact - California has no set divisions. You have these set divisions here (as does most of the nation) but California is very fluid in forming their divisions and usually after a regular season is complete. There is a lot of discussion on our site about how teams will be placed. And there is a lot of voiced frustration in not knowing ahead of time what division your team is in. Leave it to California to create an identity problem, right. But you can be sure of one thing - the playoff champion will be the strongest team in the state without question.

Well, I am over here simply because I enjoy prep discussion and you guys provide that opportunity. And I am learning about NC teams in the process.

I am really looking forward to getting our old NCPreps board migrated (moved) over by at least August 1st, and hopefully by the 24th. I am concerned that some may not return if the old board is not reinstated, as we have spent many hours posting there and would hate to feel that all our efforts were a waste of time.

No problems, been ion NC Prep since 2001; had close to 17,000 post before the changeover. I’m one of those gettin old but still interested and will hang out

I had around or about 7,000 plus posts and now it is just passed 100, but for some reason, I came back and started over and got my last user name back. I am not sure what will happen when everything gets moved over. I guess it doesn't matter, as everything will work out. I am still posting as TD, as everyone used to call me on here for short. I think there is a lot of people who posted before are back, but couldn't get their old names and just chose new ones. Once things get to going with NCPreps back, most of us will recognize the style of the ones with new names. I am looking forward to a great season for all of us fans and our teams.
