Extremely knowledgeable about passing game! Good man! Assistant at West Stokes last fall
These days, ANY HIRE where the assistant coach is actually a TEACHER, and working IN THE BUILDING, is a BIG FREAKING HIRE.
Coaches need to be in the building. Especially head coaches, but really really great when it's an assistant.
Great hires for RJR.
Coach Griffin is a great fellow and he deserved so much better at Carver. He knows Defense will and will boost. Coach Taylor deserves a high end opportunity too. He'll enjoy the heck out of the 4A ball he will face. He and Coach Griffin got along quite well, we almost scrimmaged Carver in 2021 actually it just couldn't be worked out schedule wise.
It'll take some time for the kids to get used to them but with the time proper they will be in a lot better shape. RJR's needed stability for a while they both can offer it if they are left alone.
I'll definitely be pulling for them this year.
