Heard that the Ref wanted something done but because they are a home school team with no real affiliation they cannot do anything. I think that is bull...that is a safety issue and hitting a ref is an automatic suspension for the year. So if a player can hit a ref without any consequences that becomes dangerous to schedule them. There has to be some restraint if these type of schools are going to be playing NC public schools. There is no room for that crap.

Let’s make an smc all star team to see if they can beat Tarboro lol . He played qb for us and we won it all I’m happy all the way around . Curry and Mintz both great players had great careers both won it all .
This year Cherokee just isn’t clicking on offense . They have long droughts of scoring . We got 3 good receivers and a big te but don’t seem to use them . You could focus on little Mintz but he don’t touch it that much for some reason

Let's not forget Gentry didn't swap QB's when Curry was a Freshman even though he was the better option. It shows that he respects seniority and I agree Mintz would have found his way on the field but they would not have just kicked Curry to the curb.
That was actually Curry's sophomore year but your point remains. The same thing happened pretty much with Seth Curtis not starting until a few games into his sophomore year. Mintz would have been on the field all game at Murphy, it's just that a lot of it would've been somewhere other than QB.
Anyway enough of the thread jack on my part. With Evans is out it's going to be real tough for the Braves even if the Knights have a few out too. I'll take Robbinsville by multiple scores in this one.
Still not running a one dimensional offense like years past. So there is still that element of coaching there that will help.

They also had two players who graduated last year as andrews' leading passer and rusher, so i don't know how much I would trust what they say about who will be playing Friday.
