Dad I think you'll be wrong again. I think Rosman beating your cats has clouded your usually pretty good prediction process. I am a little worried about out pass defense but we won't see the caliber of athletes lined up at receiver either. Nothing disrespectful to the tigers but it is what it is. Knights 47 tigers 22
I'm just curious why people think Robbinsville is such a great team this year? Is it because they beat Rabun Gap?
I’ve seen stranger things in the SMC. It’s not improbable that it’s close but I have to believe since our boys played the SMC front runner down to the wire they are looking for vengeance Big night for Anderson and Hooper.

Big oak the tigers have a cpl pretty good athlete’s at wide receivers . Not saying it’s gonna happen this year , but the tigers have had some good games against you’re knights
Robbinsvilles pass defense was not all that bad against Murphy..90% of Murphys passing yards came off of 2 plays, 1 of those being a busted play in the first few minutes of the game.Robbinsville forced Murphys QB into a lot of scrambling and hurried plays..But he did scramble well.

I have a lot of respect for Rosman but maybe they should go back to the days of the wishbone. They just don't have the right type athlete's to run the spread. Losing Jim to Hendersonville really set the program back . I still think they could pull the upset though.
I'll agree 100% as I said no disrespect was intended. I just don't think Rosman or Robbinsville can put 4 or 5 guys out there that run 4.4's therefore we should be able to play better against the pass.
I've looked and can't find anywhere that anyone said Robbinsville has a great team. We're really young and should be decent next year. We're proud we played Murphy pretty tough Friday night. Got down by 13 but didn't fold. Show me the quote where someone said we were great. Who do you pull for sir. ?

Nobody in the SMC can field 4.4 guys. At least not yet.
Swain has one at 4.7
Robbinsville probably has three that are 4.8
Murphy has one 4.6 and two more at 4.8
Cherokee has one 4.6 and one 4.7
Rosman has one 4.8
These are not facts just guessing based on observations.

Dad I’d say those are about right. Most people have never saw a really fast person, I talking a burner !!!! When people tell me they could and can run a 4.4 or 4.5 I just smile and let them dream. I could run a 4.5 in my high school day but it was in 30 yards. I’ve had the privilege of watching willie Gault run the 100 in college that’s speed.
Rosman has 2 4.8 kids but one is out hurt rest of the year . I remember the tigers had a cpl 4.5 guys in Chappell’s day him and a Morgan kid could really run
Is it Lawson? He is the the one that got penalties almost as consistently as Hooper?

Ole DAD just can’t help himself! Pretty sure we have 6 kids 4.7 or better. But whatever floats his yacht! In the long run it really doesn’t matter how fast you are if you can’t block.
I really enjoy watchin Anderson!! Hard nosed runner!! Don't like it when he's playin our Braves tho!!
It all depends on who shows up!! If its tha last year in tha playoffs Evans that shows up then it's 4.4!! If its tha regular season Evans then its 4.6!!
Just to clear the air, there are no 4.4 sec. 40 times in the SMC. These sub 5 sec. times are average for the league. Swain does not have anyone on current team or past teams with sub 5 sec. 40 times. If anyone believes this
then they are kidding themselves. The league and college times are on average, for any skilled position, between 4.7 and 5.45 for kids that primarily train everyday with strength and conditioning coaches. So don't try to bs the rest of

Not really sure what your trying to say..You lost me with SMC league and college averages..Everyone knows there is not a 4.4 in this league. Evidently you don't know your own team very well. Sain is wayyy below 5.0..The kid has been to more camps and combines than anyone in the conference..He is a legit 4.7..Hes probably been clocked 100 times at that speed.
I doubt there has ever been anybody in the SMC that runs a legit 4.4. I follow football all over the state and I have only seen a handful of those players. Johnny White that played for Asheville and the NFL was a 4.5 and he was one of the fastest I ever seen.
League = NFL, the average times are from 2018 NFL combine. where times are measured by laser so no human error. That way no one can fabricate

40 times are always blow out of proportion for football. In football we have always get the 4.4 40 thrown out there. If we had that kinda of speed SMC Track teams would be bringing home hardware in the 100 meters every year. I understand different kids have better top speed but 4.4 is a sub 11 100 meter. No one in the SMC,even the R’ville, has kids cracking 11 without help of quick fingers. Ty Mintz ran an 11.2 and I think he could fall within that 4.6 easily but 4.6 and 4.4 is worlds a part when talking speed.
I think the Washington kid from Mountain Island Charter was one of the fastest kids I ever saw.. I watched Murphy beat him with all their "slowness" that Rich Blackman talked about..The kid was fast though..Not sure what his 40 time was.
Let me get this correct, and answer very carefully before you discredit yourself on your first day on here. You are saying that nobody in the SMC runs a sub 5.0 ,40 yard dash this year?
