now that's funny, transfer wise may be the only way we ever get a 5 star rated QB on our team. How sad is that?

Kaz how close were we to Sanchez, the 5 star USC qb that year? I do remember we where in on him and Harrison Beck, we all know how that played out...but. was Callahan even close to pull in him?

Right now I'll take what we can get and build for the future. As I've stated numerous times the plays are there to be made. I have a feeling you'll see major movement after the season is over.

How soon could Allen play? Wouldn't he have to sit out a year. TA would still be the man next year then it's supposed to be POB's time. Not that having both wouldn't be great but it doesn't help next year.

We need as many capable pro style quarterbacks as we can land right now. Building for the future begins yesterday.

Not Kaz but IIRC Sanchez was close to pulling the trigger but Beck beat him to it. Think it was a situation where they were going to take only who committed first.

He can play in '17 and wants to go to a school with a senior QB.
It sounds like he likes Oklahoma.

mayfield is fighting for a second year. doesn't appear he will win that back.
OU has #5 rated QB in country coming in this class.

Pro style offense equals N or CSU but not that it matters if he committed to a spread team coming out of HS.

Gabbert was a 5-star (sorry c2o). As for guys that made it here I know Crouch was a five star and I'm pretty sure Frazier and Frost were too.

#1 pro-style qb and #7 overall recruit. Would like to get him to create some good competition at the qb position.
I want to say this I Love Tommy' heart.
Now if he is up against Allen, playing like he did this year, there is competition. His reads, and ball security would kill him in game conditions.

Wouldnt matter since he has to sit out. By the time he hits the field Armstrong will be long gone

As much I love TA, he has to take care of the ball better. If he can't find someone who will. If this guy can , then play him next year. We cannot afford losing seasons here. Irrelevancy is peeping around the corner.

When USC offered him, it was over at that point, for everyone. Had he wanted to come to Lincoln, Callahan would've taken him at any point.

No offense to whomever is our starter, but there needs to be depth in case of injury or just to push them to be better.

He would have to sit out a year before he could play per NCAA rules.
