Rolesville's going to have to score a bunch. In these playoffs, Rolesville is giving up 38.25 ppg. Cardinal Gibbons is averaging 44 ppg. Defensively, CG is giving up 17.25 ppg in the playoffs, while Rolesville is scoring 56.5 ppg. If CG's defense as far as points allowed, performs three times worse than its average it's still only 51.75 ppg. The most points given up this season in a game by CG was 55 against EF early in the season. Basically, all CG has to do is hit their average of scoring 44 points in this game and their defense would have to basically play three times worse, as far as points allowed. I just don't see that happening. In spite of their offensive output, it's going to be an uphill battle for Roleseville, though it should be a good game.

Did Cardinal Gibbons give up 55 to East Forsyth? I remember watching that game and I thought it was a late fumble recovery for a touchdown by East Forsyth to put them over the top. I don’t think either scored that much. That was a good game. They have not played since the championship game so that would have to be it.

edit: Final score in that championship game was East forsythe 24 Cardinal Gibbons 21.

He meant Rolesville giving up 55 to EF.

Went back and checked. I have no clue what I was looking at. Disregard anything I said about Cardinal Gibbons and East Forsyth

Father time is undefeated😂😂😂😂 You’ve probably watched more high school football than anyone I know. I just remember because I had a friend whose son played for them that year. I actually stayed because I originally went there to see Leesville Road play then Vance.
