Mid week Non Conference games pretty much meaningless IMO, since an NCAA out large is out of the question. Bellisimo goes today against Columbia , which leads the IVY League, and TBA starts tomorrow. I'm guessing Belissimo only goes 4 or 5 innings to save him for the weekend in case they need him in Long relief against Michigan this weekend.

I understand that the B1G games are a priority and we need those to play some postseason baseball, but I don't know if giving away games is the right mentality. That sort of thinking spreads like a cancer. You keep the gas on the pedal.

RU takes the early lead 3-0 over Iona. Now in top 2nd. Jack Parkinson, a transfer from Rowan U, on the mound for RU. Rowan has a good baseball program. Parkinson is a junior, who is from Haddonfield and went to St. Augustine HS.

I don’t think he’s from Rowan University, I think he is from the two-year school which also carries the Rowan name.

very happy to see neglia back. Not the best result. Hopefully he can get back to his early form.

RU wins 7-3. Parkinson with the win, he went 5 innings, a bunch of relievers after. Iona has a bad record. Anyway, very big weekend series starts Friday against Michigan 6pm. Michigan is in 3rd in the conference w an 8-3 record. Winning the series will be tough, need to get at least 1 though.

Also glad to see Neglia, even if he showed the rust. Has anyone heard anything about Gerace? If they get to the BIG tournament the pitching depth becomes more important.

Lineup wise, I had expected to see DiGiorgio by now.
