I saw FGCU play Ohio State last month while on vacation and they looked like a good team. They had a chance to win the game. Last batter hit a shot with men on base but just got under it and the left fielder caught it for the final out.

1-1 Bottom 8th. RU has left 11 runners on base. We half half our lineup hitting under .200. We pinchhit for Blum w 2 runners on with a batter hitting. 094 beacause he was a lefting. End of inning.

Still 1-1 going into the bottom of the 9th. Game going on almost 4 hours and this is with NO MEDIA timesouts, lol. RU has left 13 men on base.

the reality is one quality starter. gerace is a good pitcher and brito can be solid. The lineup is a terrible one. It is worse than expected as sclafani is a surprise and he was expected to be 1 of the better hitters. He is hitting under .200. We have zero power. Like all time bad. I would live with welsh defensively to get soto out of the lineup.

Rutkowski is the type of pitcher we need to bring in every other season. And then one that is draft scouted.if you cant do that and similar with the offense, you cant win. It is a shame he should have 3-4 wins.

RU loses 4-1, FGC gets a 3 run walk off Homer w 2 outs and 2 on in the bottom of the 11th. Tough loss. Kyle Muller takes the loss. Well pitched game by Rutkowski.

does anyone know if sclafani is dealing with injuries> To be so far off his typical stats as a senior is odd.

And right on cue Sclafani hits a 2 run Homer, followed by a homer by Valderamma.. RU up 4-0 and still hitting in top of the 2nd. So far TBD looking good on the mound.

Does anyone know if every hitter in our lineup is dealing with injuries. There maybe they will all hit. I was getting comfident we might not have a home run.. Glad to see sclafani get a hit. Still think his production so far is odd.

LOL, good one.

TBD loaded the bases in bottom 2, but Genaro came in and put out the fire. 4-0 top of the 3rd. Time for me to stretch my legs and walk the dog. Be back later for end of Baseball, start of Softball, Players Championship in Golf, my Irish Wife's Corn Beef Dinner, and probably a beer or 2.

I feel so bad for this team. How crappy is it going into a series knowing you don’t have a game three starter? That’s little league type stuff
