Suspending a coach, unless you do it for the whole season like Payton, what does that do? As if he can't just ghost-coach the team through those games.
Those silly maniacs up there have proven winning is all that matters. Nutt's affair, which was not even with a UA employee, made them mad as hell, but Petrino is just a "good man who made a mistake." Who cares if he's shtupping some tail outside of marriage; I'm sure many coaches, like powerful politicians, take advantage of what's thrown in their faces. If this were at ANY other university, I'd just agree he should keep his job. Like I felt it was absurd Clinton had to answer professionally for boinking women. But since it's Arkansas and after the psycho parade Rebel fans have endured from them for four years, I really wish Petrino would get shitcanned.
I saw a blog headline by a Hog blogger that said something like "Razorback fans don't deserve this," with "this" being Petrino putting the program at risk with his dalliances. I have never disagreed more with any assertion in my life. Razorback fans most certainly deserve every bit of this.

i have a long time friend that is heavily connected to Arkansas athletics and the word up in Fayetteville is that Petrino will be fired tomorrow.
