By way of background, it goes back to my Mother . She graduated from State in 1941 after starting at the W. I have her 1940 annual which has the write up of the Bully I funeral. She said they had a great time at State. That was still during the depression years when students made their own fun because they had little money.
But let's face it. Until we play LSU, this is a slow time for football. No good SEC games this weekend. So I thought I might try to get some humorous responses to the Bully deal. HotMop had a funny response when he said the oldest State artifact he owned was some dog bones which he dug up under the field that provided him with good luck. And LawDog97 had a funny response by rhetorically asking how could he possibly answer a question without knowing precisely where Bully is buried.
But I will let it rest in peace, as it were.
