So if Texas A&M and Okie State joins the BIG which I think would be awesome I think that Oregon and Washington goes to the BIG. Then the SEC will start to tear down the ACC teams like UNC FSU Clemson Miami and either UVA/Duke. Now here is what the Big 12 will do. They will have to add 9 teams I say they add Colorado Utah Arizona and Arizona St. Then there are some peaches that are left over from the ACC. Like Pitt NC State Louisville VA Tech and either Duke/UVA. Now that’s a pretty good conference for losing Ok St. Then the AAC would get Syracuse Boston College Wake Forest Georgia Tech Army UCONN making them the #4 conference and owning the Army Navy game
Mtn West Washington st Oregon st New Mexico st and UTEP

Is Oklahoma State AAU? They are Carnegie I classification but not AAU. Is OSU good enough for Big 10 to overlook that?

But like the title says, Rumors.

I know they went waaaaay West recently but there is no way they go into TX. they are already stretching themselves thin as it is and will need to add teams to help USC/UCLA out West. Plus could you imagine the wine and cheese crowd at OSU greeting Texas A&M fans to Columbus?!? LOL.

OSU maybe but they would take Kansas first. Stronger academics, stronger national brand

Maybe but football drives this. I think that schools with better football will get the invite to SEC or BIG. That’s why I think no one will go after Duke

Yes, I don't think they are highly sought after. Seems like they don't have the right connections, subpar football, and no market they command.
