When you suck, you expect to get blown out. When you are much better than another team, up 10 points with 1:15 to go, with so much at stake (B1G double buy, NCAA seed), and you s the bed in epic and almost comical fashion........yes, worst loss ever.
That's textbook Rutgers going Rutgers.
Expecting to get blown out is more embarrassing than being blown out by surprise.
Sad, but very true. Going Rutgers isn't about sucking. Going Rutgers is about giving fans hope and then crushing it to cause as much pain as possible.
It's about losing to Cincy after Louisville. It's about losing to Louisville under Flood when for a few glorious seconds we seemed to be up 21-3 (and Orange Bowl bound) prior to the penalty, it's about choking and blowing a 10-point lead against Houston with a Sweet 16 spot on the line and having a legit path to a Final Four, and yes, it's about blowing this game to a far inferior team with so much at stake.

RU finished slightly over .500 against the spread for the season but were 1-6-1 ATS during the 8 game crash to close out the season. Very easy money .
They covered both wisky and penn state but year they’re been dreadful down the stretch for sure
