Don't care how prominent he actually is, the only thing RU ever responds to is negative PR. See Barchi caving in during the Rice fiasco, apologizing to Princeton, going defcon 5 when the fire flood fund was started, etc.

Public booster complaints, GoFundMe, booing Food on the scoreboard...it all keeps this type of pressure up. Just waiting for the plane banner now lol.

Put money where your flap is to the Foundation for coaches salaries

It's important not to forget that we didn't have an invite to the B1G at that time. IMO this is the most important fact and would have substantially limited our ability to attract a good coach in any event. Look, we're now in the B1G and SI characterizes the RU job as a third tier job - I can only imagine how it would be characterized if we were in the the AAC.

Not worried about then, this is now, banners are GREAT did you see what Miami fans did? They flew one at their game in Cincinnati to help get the point across and, guess what, it did. [thumb2][thumb2]

From what I understand, there have already been discussions among Barchi, Hermann, and prominent donors who don't need to resort to Twitter and the SL to get their calls returned.
