Next is the dreaded 2nd Half which is very predictable but for once I’d like to be wrong on what will happen the rest of the way in this game .

Rutgers is playing tough. Wimsatt is dialed in. They could have had 14 points but I'll take 6-10. Just need a couple more takeaways to make this interesting.

Part of the issue is exactly what was discussed earlier in the broadcast. Depth/talent we are still building, its getting better but not comparable to psu.

When we play with hair on fire they move the ball. But way too many times they just run the same plays that don't work.

So many of our fans really SUCK! It’s like they are lumping the Ash & Flood era together with GS 2.0.

Let’s not forget in his first year Gleason scored point! So he fooled us and Greg.

Unfortunately took a step backward and Greg realized it and moved on mid season.

People need to relax and breath. Enjoy the gap closing on all these teams. Bowling in year 4. Most of these loser mentality fans thought 3-4 wins. Now we have 6 and they still just want to *****.

6 year olds. Grow up

Listen, it’s not the usual game over by halftime that we are use it. I’ll take 10-6 at half against a top 15 team any day and getting the kickoff. I see progress, D is there, just need a QB to be a functional offense. I see the light!!

RU coaches like to bang on the defense to make then weaker in 2nd half.
That's where Mongo got a lot of his yards

Will be tough to win if we can’t run. And, for the most part, we have struggled to establish much of a running game. But GW and the WRs have made some good plays and hopefully that will cause PSU to back off the run just a bit.

The D got a nice rest going into the half, so that should help us in the second half.

Looking forward the the rest of the game. With a little luck, we can still win this.

specifically a formation play for no reason, if we didnt get called for another holding in the redzone we were getting illegal formation..that kind of stuff cannot happen this deep in the season in an important spot

because its not far off from down 3-0 to Iowa at half....bad penalties in the red zone 2x and after moving the ball so impressively those drives we just get 6. To actually win we need touchdowns

Seriously is this a Penn state broadcast? - the intro before the beginning of the second half : have this little video thing with PSU graphics with in-studio- video of PSU players doing stupid hand signals.

Have they done the same with RU graphics and players ?

Easily? C’mon, now. We are nowhere near a good enough FB team to win any Big Ten game “easily”. Our players and coaches are fighting and clawing their hearts out to beat a better team. And we’re still in it.

Meanwhile, GW had a decently consistent first half, making good decisions, making good passes, getting a big run in. Plus he’s getting good protection from the OL. All good signs for the future.
