Interesting we have 2 and WI has 1
Yes and no. They lost to Iowa who just lost to Minnesota who lost to NW. They beat us at their place but our seasons have been similar to date. After the Top 3 it’s looking like any given Saturday in the BIG and maybe a couple struggling at the bottom but let’s see what happens.

Here is the big question. With just 1 #24th place vote does Rutgers increase votes in next week's rankings or disappear from the rankings while on a bye?

Depends on how many teams ahead in "also receiving votes" lose on 10/28. Probably at least three, so Rutgers might even move up.

We got 2 votes. JMU got more votes. Even our most negative fans can see we are a better team than JMU.

Since we played them, they lost starting QB Mordecai to a broken hand. Their offense has taken a half step back.
Last year our offense took a major step back when Vedral broke his hand and could not throw then GW hurt is ankle and couldn’t run but most posters here kept repeatedly posting that our offense wasn’t good because our QBs were just bad.

I know we are. That's why I laughed at them being ranked. They're getting votes simply because voters are lazy and only see the record. This year's Coastal or App State.
They have us right we're we belong right now (MHO).

Not going to criticize Appalachian State… for a school in the sticks they have always been known as a formidable opponent. Same as Marshall…

Yeah, never mind the 70 million in B1G media rights money.

Somebody give this guy his nickel back ( his share of the entire RU budget funded by State taxes).

SMH
Not everyone is aware of how things are funded. And with Athletics still running a deficit, I'm guessing an argument could be made some is tax money?

Kansas State at #25, with a 6-2 record. Admitting a home team bias, I don't see how their 6-2 is better than ours.
