We better not even think about kicking the field goal here

It was the right play. The problem is so far the pass defense looks as bad as the overall d in basketball last season. Ohio has completed every pass except the one we let the QB throw away after misfielding the snap instead of taking him down. At that rate they will score every possession. Let’s see if we can adjust.

I thought we brought in guys that blitz? We’ve gotten no where near the QB so far. This D is going to get shredded in the BIG.

The D is really bad. Rhodes is a starter on their OL. This Ohio team isn’t that good.

Safeties are not playing well.

The entire secondary looks bad. We got lucky they didn’t call PI on the one stop made. Every other incompletion were botched snaps that should’ve been sacked. and then we’re still giving up big QB runs.

Anybody confident our offense will score every possession

They don't call PI when the DB is looking at the ball. No luck involved.

Regardless - Ohio knowingly threw a 50/50 home run long ball. That is our only pass stop so far. The throw aways don’t count. They should’ve been sacks.

I mean I like good offense, but I’m old enough to remember when D/ST was the GS calling card

At the moment, I might be more confident in that then the possibility of us getting a defensive stop that Ohio doesn’t bring on themselves with their snap issues.
