Not a Mawot Mag denier.....I am a denier that he's was the most important of the 5 starters.....maybe I was proven wrong based on the results of how the season played out (not really) and could have said 4th and made Mulcahy 5th, but even though Mulcahy faltered badly down the stretch, I can't in good mindset, say that I would have expected that to happen.......and we sat on Simpson......but on to recruiting and next year.
My interview with NJH

Is the earth flat? NO
Climate Change? YES
Was the election rigged? OF COURSE NOT
Is Hyatt going to replace Giannis Antetokounmpo one day? (big pause) I'll have to get back to you on that one

Me too, but don’t expect much
Kids still raw & wildly inconsistent
Agreed. With us having more scoring options coming in over the next fews year along with current roster (Noah, Gavid, Cam, Derek, Ace, Warren, Hopefully Dylan) This type of player is ideal to close the paint and keep teams honest down there.

Would love this as a backup situation.

I don’t know why we’re automatically counting Wolf out already. He’s got good strength, good hands, decent rebound positioning, and a decent base of post moves. He might be our next Myles. Myles didn’t even play his first year, unlike Wolf. The only thing about Wolf is maybe he can’t get up as high as Myles or Cliff to block shots. Maybe he’ll improve his vertical in the off-season, but hey, not all centers have to be 7 feet tall (though preferably, lol.)

Wolf strikes me as a guy who is going to show a lot of improvement year to year. The fact that last year was his first year focusing only on basketball is crazy to me, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what he looks like after a full offseason.

I think Wolf will be fine. But his size of 6'7" will hurt him against some of the teams on our schedule.

Bodo is still out there but we need an experienced backup for one to two years because Latham may also need some help his first year. Latham can also fill in as a stretch four as he has a plus outside shot . His is known to be very crafty on the inside with drop steps, head fakes as well as going under the hoop to shoot and ward off bigger defenders. He had some very good teachers as his foot work is at a high level. His under the hoop move is reminiscent of Rashad Kent.

He’s listed at 6’9” 250.

Trace Jackson Davis, Dain Dainja, Zed Key, Filip Rebraca, Julian Reese, Kebba Njie, and Derrick Walker all were the primary bigs on their teams and all of them are listed at about the same size as Wolf.

Obviously someone like Edey would be a matchup problem but he’s a matchup problem for everyone (except FDU apparently)

I enjoy the impromptu podcasts but it is well known that those predictions aren’t always accurate. Richie certainly is aware of going out on a limb too soon when a commit is not a sure thing. We could possibly see our expectations shattered further before the ink dries. When you begin to see names being tossed around like a Caesar salad you know things are not progressing as Rutgers was anticipating. Better hope Cliff is back or we could be in trouble.

Edey was a problem for FDU too, with 21 points and 15 rebounds, the problem is none of his teammates showed up.

Some people can't get it out of their head that it's not 1990 anymore when every team had a 7 foot or 6'11 Center.

He is listed but isn't 6'9".
What I posted is correct. He will have a hard time guarding some of the bigger centers in the B1G. Doesn't mean he won't be a good player.

Seems all D1 football and bball players inflate their height, so if he goes up against someone else listed 6-9 they will probably be about the same height. Round up and add an inch, sort of what we do with our schlongs.

Exactly. It's not like Rutgers inflates heights and everyone else is listing their actual height

Wolf's height isn't an issue

You're really not supposed to reveal premium info from other sites, although 5-day old info might be fair game, as it's hard to contain any info for that long...

Only shared because I believe Richie himself disputed it. But agreed - important that we respect that.

Mods - please delete my post if you think it was improper.
