Snowboarder been a while yeah agreed and even Reasso was not good at the end so a lot of making up to do but like you said as with the women the soccer talent in NJ is still tops or near the top in the country so I think this coach will have us back to the top 20 by next year I hopeRU soccer is getting back to where it should be
It's hard to appreciate just how incompetent Donigan was as a head coach
Rutgers Soccer is digging out of the mess Dan created
We should be a top 20 program every year
Donigan was a lazy recruiter
Two of the best Academies in the country are within 20 minutes of campus yet Donigan had little or no relationship with the top players and coaches at PDA and NY Redbull
Yeah, huge game. Reminds me of last spring, when the two newbies were also in the lead in baseball. Kind of cool.Man this one is HUGE both for the season and the program in general. A "W" here, following the tie at OSU, puts us in the driver's seat BUT I'll take another "tie" and run!
Crap weather in New Jersey today into tonight.Yeah, huge game. Reminds me of last spring, when the two newbies were also in the lead in baseball. Kind of cool.
I'm sure the Terrapins are worried about finding a way to slow down super-scorer Jackson Temple...
Don't understand supposed to be less rain later!!! Also how was anyone supposed to know?WTF? Apparently game move to 3:45 at Miller Practice Facility and NO fans?
Can't be great turf if you can't play a game there when it rains or are they saying the fields at the Miller soccer complex are better than the field at Yurcak? We put new turf down this summer, right? I still think it’s a horrible excuse, if so, but that’s got to be the reason. Can’t think of another one.
Either way it shouldn't be the case. If it was laid this summer it SHOULD be good to go by now even with a lot of rain, right? Can't be great turf if you can't play a game there when it rains or are they saying the fields at the Miller soccer complex are better than the field at Yurcak?
Is that also an outdoor field? Does it have artificial turf? Not really understanding this...Don't understand supposed to be less rain later!!! Also how was anyone supposed to know?
Will game be on TV?
Curious about Maeland too. However, he did play against Fordham, just missed OSU.Anybody know why Ola Maeland hasn't played the last two games?
Yeah the Miller fields are outside and grassIs that also an outdoor field? Does it have artificial turf? Not really understanding this...
Thank you. I'm sure they know what they're doing...Yeah the Miller fields are outside and grass
It happens too often with Rutgers teams where they have a lead and let it get away.RU was up 2-0 on #8 at home, now down 3-2 with 17 mins to go. Too bad
Not only that MD's first two goals were on incredible shots and to me not much you can do to defend that; the last goal our goalie could have played better but thats the way it goesI don't think you all should feel so crushed about this game. Some of the comments are painting an inaccurate picture of a game in which one team dominated but gave up three late goals at the end. That isn't at all what happened. In fact, the two-goal lead lasted all of three minutes.
The way the game went down was like this, in my opinion. There was an early flurry in which your team scored two goals (one was a fluke-ish deflection), and the opposition scored one goal (fluke-ish as well, and shot that I was surprised the goalie didn't get to). That left over 60 minutes for a fairly capable team to chip away steadily at a one-goal deficit, which they managed to do.
Your team did not choke. Not only that, they are still right there in the hunt for first place in the B1G...
Ask LSU women's team.I didn’t think it was possible to lose a 2 goal lead in soccer.
