I was rooting for us to win despite the fear that somehow, someway, a key decision maker could influence the process in the 11th hour by pointing to a 'big' win over the Terps (a la 2013 USF). At least now that possibility has been removed.
Now the fear is: this game isn't going to make a difference and Barchi won't buyout Flood's contract.
He'll use Hermann ( whether she deserves it or not) as a scapegoat and keep the Kyle.

I saw that rumor. If true, I will have to think long and hard about next season (drop/reduce/maintain seats & donations).

I was hoping for a win as well. It would have been nice to beat Indiana and Maryland two straight times and show we're not the worst in the division.

I still do not believe his future ever rested on the result of today's game.

Bus is coming, and Barchi is ready to give the push to JH
(Hope I'm wrong)
If he does, better put Flood on it or it will be just using her as a scapegoat for his not firing Flood when he should have.
Barchi's been known to throw others under the bus for what he failed to see.

I want Flood gone, but, that last official call on 4th down was bad. The official was leaning the marker back and the point of the ball was still clearly right on it.

31-13 at the end of the half so you play conservative second half when your defense is the worst in the Big 10. Yeah, that made perfect sense. The D can't hold anyone down but Flood figures to run out 30 minutes on the clock.
I really do hope he's gone but I also hope they already have spoken to the coach they want although that seems unlikely.
